MotoGP » Stoner: We can still improve the bike quite a bit

Wosi, nothing is set in stone. You and I both know that the season is made up of more than just one race. Even more than just a couple of tests! The bookies only offer odds on whats been placed already and they cover their own losses with the odds. The results may not go the expected way and thats what many hope for. I'm one of those people. I'm not saying I want Casey to lose or that I want Vale to win. I don't want to realise the Champion elect by race 4 either. So Wosi, if the results go wrong and a few find them selves homeless, who would you put your house on? And why?

Yes, the posting on this site could be better. Registered poster only threads alongside the free for all to post would bring some quality debate back too. If you can't laugh at some of the funny/rude/insulting and genius posts from the unregistered then you need to stop visiting. The problem is I CAN'T stop needing my fix of the "car crash" forum that this place can be?!?!?!?!?!?!!? It will get better here as the racing starts and with the incident involving Marco, some real solidarity came from it..... And then the Chimps tea party started again. Anyone for some cake??...... In the face! (a joke!)

@Stoner fans the new yellow. I like what you post and have always prefered people to exchange views and a little bit of educated "insult table tennis". The guard appears to have changed permenantly though. Ie. Vale ISN'T the perceived threat anymore. Last year I thought he was going to do a Welcom 04 at Qatar 11. During the pre-testing for 04 Vale loitered around 7th place. I realised this until 3rd corner Qatar and COULDN'T believe my eyes as to reality bieng as testing had shown. I genuinely thought a real trick was going to be played on all the world. But, it didn't happen.. It looks like it won't happen again. It is sad for his genuine fans to have your favourite beaten and have riders express their glee at crucifying him in a race. But thats life for you. Some Vale fans spouted that Jesus will never die. These are the ones facing insults from posters they've insulted.

MotoGP » Tell us what you think of MotoGP!

How do you level the field without issuing a "control" bike? Some riders would have to adapt their own style to suit the parameters of the bike. As Kevin Schwantz always states about the top riders in the world is that they ARE the best and no matter what you put them on they will always rise to the top. On a level playing field (control bike, tyres,ECU etc) do you think that James Ellison would whup Casey in a straight battle? I'm a "Pomgolian" (to keep Moe happy) and as much as I love James Ellison I wouldn't bet on him against one of the current cream of the crop.

MotoGP » 'You never know' - Jorge Lorenzo after GP2 test

Good on old Jorge for having a fun day out for FREE! The hospitality alone would have been worth the ticket price if Jorge had to pay. He gets to sit in the comfy chairs enjoying the free food and drink and then to get to spank someones toy round a track for fun UNTIL Jorge's had enough and not some spanker from the track calling you in as your time is up. Back in 2005(I think thats when it was) when Vale had his Ferrari testing his old friend Max Biaggi was getting some fun time in an F1 car too. Max didn't make a fool of himself either.

MotoGP » Rossi: Stoner, Lorenzo ahead but podium possible

I would love to see Vale on the podium if he earns the spot. The problem is that standing in the third place spot means he will be eye level with Casey/Jorge standing on the top spot. Should be some classic body language to watch!! I don't care who ends on the podium as long as there could be some "Jibes" in the post race interviews. Could be a true spectacle. The phOEnix may have risen.....

MotoGP » Cyber war? Repsol Honda compare Stoner, Rossi stats

Dacron, I know he returned on a satalite Duke but his ability to claim a factory ride had gone and he was just entertaining his own ego on return, the lucky bloke. BigLee, I'm sure it was a collarbone/shoulder injury that was aggro'd in the Casey get together. Was it from his flip 'n slide with Loris' bottom or his previous shoulder injury caused at Jerez? I was led to believe it was Jerez.. Sorry for mistake.

MotoGP » Cyber war? Repsol Honda compare Stoner, Rossi stats

@BigLee. Casey's first year on the Lcr did claim him a pole in his stats. His only reason for the pole was that the Qualifying tyres were handed out to all who raced. They were the same spec. The RACE tyres were a different matter. The Supermen got the overnight specials and then the next best 'uns got the std spec tyre with a choice of hard or soft. The compounds that ALL the top ten boys rejected were then left for the shoestring teams to have. I do agree that Sete's career at Ducati was ended by the bloke who nicked his seat but if I remember rightly(Insults expected if I'm wrong! :) it was the Jerez 2003 shoulder that got busted up a bit more and Sete's wife was bleating for him to stop racing.
