"I know pretty much every single manoeuvre in the book, and that''s why I''m the best at my job. We are talking about a skilled driver under intense pressure making a split-second decision which no-one, not unless they are in Formula One, can comprehend."

.........Puh-lease....God I hope Massa wins the championship, Lewis is so full of himself. Of course he is skilled at racing cars but he was given everything on a silver platter, he should be good. But the best? Come on Lewis. Show some gratitude. Show some humility. Have some respect for your competitors. He''s made a staunch Massa fan out of me, that''s for sure.

It's interesting that many people disklike Lewis Hamilton because he does not meet their ethical criteria, but people with more shady ethics who like him decide to believe the only reason others dislike him must be 'sour grapes' - ethics don't even come into the picture for these more primitive thinkers. I bet these people saying the F1 drivers are nancy boys aren't so tough themselves, its not hard to be a keyboard warrior.

In response to the "where are the rossi haters now" comments, I'm a rossi hater, I guess, I find him insanely annoying and atrociously *****. But that's about the worst thing I've ever said: I never troll or say bad things. But you asked, so, yes, here I am, a Rossi hater, sucking it up :)

Who would give him a ride, though? McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull & Toyota are set for ''09, whilst Force India seem likely to retain Fisi & Sutil. Honda have no shortage of drivers and Torro Rosso have their own ''junior'' drivers. So that leaves: Renault, Williams and BMW with Kubica already sealed in at BMW & Rosberg at Williams. Effectively, there''s currently 4 seats left for ''09 and with Heidfeld & Alonso guaranteed to take two of them, Pantano will need to convince a team he''s better than Bourdais, Piquet, Sato, Klein, Nakajima, Davidson...It''s a long list even before you include the guys that gave him a hard time in GP2 this year with only a fraction of his experience.

Mathematically maybe, but it''s pretty much over for Kubica''s chances.

He's definitely getting better pace out of the car now, he's closer to vettel than othes are to their team-mates, and Vettel might be one the best in F1. He needs to make sure he doesn't start acting like a cheese-eating surrender-monkey and get on with the job for the last few races. The guy was SO good in champcars, Torro Rosso would be stupid not to retain him for next year but Berger & co. seem to be just as interested in attitudes and dynamics as they are in outright pace, so he needs to stay positive.

Good stuff from Power, it''s great to get some news about him and excellent to see him score a top 5 finish on a short oval. Watch out for Will at surfers paradise, he''s always been blindingly quick there :p

All the sites are running wih this story but there hasn't been a single quote from Fernando. Honda saying they would love him to join them hardly means Alonso is "poised to switch to honda". He's getting more than $15mil at Renault so it seems like absolute crap to me... Something smells funny and I think Nick Fry is an ambitious, manipulative and cold-hearted little man - only time will tell what seed he has planted with this latest bout of verbal diarrhea.

Re: Yamaha R1 - Stick to MOTO Gp topics if you think F1 is for dull people, you're not going to convince anyone by saying something like that withouth at least explaining why moto gp is better in your opinion. As a fan of both formats I can see why you didn't even try, each has something to offer so you're just talking narrow minded crap my friend :p *edited for a spelling error

"I''ve been watching the Race of Champions for the last few years, and have always been really keen to do it, as the concept looks great,” Webber said, “This year I can, so flying the flag for Australia will be loads of fun - especially with a two-wheel legend in Troy as my team-mate. I''m sure there will be some laughs on the night for both of us!" That quote proves that the droves of people constantly calling Webber a whining whinger are proved right, once again! He really should be more positive and enthusiastic, what''s wrong with him? (note: sorry if anyones sarcasm detector literally exploded)
