"I know pretty much every single manoeuvre in the book, and that''s why I''m the best at my job. We are talking about a skilled driver under intense pressure making a split-second decision which no-one, not unless they are in Formula One, can comprehend."

.........Puh-lease....God I hope Massa wins the championship, Lewis is so full of himself. Of course he is skilled at racing cars but he was given everything on a silver platter, he should be good. But the best? Come on Lewis. Show some gratitude. Show some humility. Have some respect for your competitors. He''s made a staunch Massa fan out of me, that''s for sure.

They should just give some responsibility back to the drivers, double-waved yellows lets them know not to take the next blind corner flat.. the rule is a joke at the moment. As much as I wanted to see Piquet secure a good result it should not have been like that. Webber has a valid point and although I've heard him criticise the rule before I'm wondering where the other drivers are on this, doesn't anyone else have the balls to speak up? Kovalainen for starters, I really like the guy but this rule has hit him more than anyone else this year, and being in a quick car the rule is likely to affect him more than others, why isn't he sticking up for what's best for him?

Lmao I don't think he's had a collision with Webber yet actually, Webber's usually too far down the track. It's usually the Torro Rosso's, Force Indias, Hondas and Williams, but of course there was the crash with Massa at Albert Park. Good old DC, watching the start of Belgium '98 will always be a cherished memory :)

Heikki is new to the team this year and has had a lot of bad luck in races. He was caught out by the safety car rule in Hockenheim and not for the first time. See how he goes in the closing races of this season and especially next year, I think he'll get a lot stronger and hopefully make a few people eat their words. I personally think he'll be a match for Lewis in Hungary providing he's not blocked in quali or falls foul of the safety car rule in the race or has something go wrong with the car again.

Heikki''s had so much bad luck this year. That''s not the first time he''s been caught out by the ridiculous safety car rule either. Here''s hoping for a spot of luck in Hungary: Surely, statistically - even, he''s due now...

I think it would have been the team telling him to stay out over the radio. With Coulthard already out, Webber was able to secure Red Bull as much coverage by trailing around with smoke coming out the rear as both him and David would have got by completing the race. Red Bull is in a bit of a unique position because they're just selling energy drinks, not cars or 'engineering excellenece' so they don't get bad publicity when their car is smoking or burning. On the ground of safetys, it seems like Mark should have pulled in. But in the end there was no harm done, Red Bull got plenty of publicity and I could be sane to argue they did the 'sensible' thing.

Exactly, it's not Casey's fault if he rides off into the sunset! He's a professional, he can't slow down to put a show on for the fans...and imagine if his tyres went off before the guy he let catch up..that race would be remembered as a hollow win for the victor and a joke for the fans - it's up to them to catch up!

Well, good luck with that.. Somehow I feel Monaco was there 1 chance to really shine this year. I definitely wouldn''t mind being wrong...but that car still stinks like the wind at a tip!

What makes you believe the 'Queen of the Nurburgring' would beat her anywhere other than the Nurburgring? I have to admit I don't know an awful lot about Schmidt. I'm sure it's good for Audi's marketing but hey lets give her some time before we write it off as a 'ploy'. By the way I never gave you the thumbs down, some others must think she's got a bit of potential too! I don't think she'll set the world alight but she surprised me in champ car when she outqualified Oriol Servia a few times. Anyway I wish her the best, I find myself supporting the nice/worldy drivers, not always the fastest ones :)

Fair enough, I had no idea he was already commentating! He seemed to have a lot to say in that article and sounded almost like he was coming from the eprspective of a fan. Maybe he'll be more interesting when he quits McLaren - he'll be able to talk about them and he won't have to represent Mr. Integrity (Ron) and all those corporate ideals..
