"I know pretty much every single manoeuvre in the book, and that''s why I''m the best at my job. We are talking about a skilled driver under intense pressure making a split-second decision which no-one, not unless they are in Formula One, can comprehend."

.........Puh-lease....God I hope Massa wins the championship, Lewis is so full of himself. Of course he is skilled at racing cars but he was given everything on a silver platter, he should be good. But the best? Come on Lewis. Show some gratitude. Show some humility. Have some respect for your competitors. He''s made a staunch Massa fan out of me, that''s for sure.

In her article it mentioned that her and Albers were the only ones in '06 machinery, and last race was the first event since a change in the weight regulations. She nearly made it through to Q2 which is an improvement, unfortunately the race didn't go too well but I think it's a bit early to be calling her a token female. Give her some time and she might even throw up a few surprises.

So did I, did a bit of research and "Hans-Joachim Stuck has been appointed Motorsport Representative for the Volkswagen Group with effect from January 2008." Just search "Hans-Joachim Stuck VW" in google for more info. I think VW are probably the ones starting these rumours...It never frustrates them to clarify them, does it? It doesn't cost anything to say "We could do it...but we're not....but we're always thinking about it"...Which can't be bad for the brand name and it gets VW mentioned on motorsports pages all over the world. At least someones using the media for once instead of always the other way round!

Whether Hinchcliffe can pull off the title in Atlantics this year or not, I think he should switch over to the Forsythe Indy lights team in 09, the atlantics are a feeder category that goes nowhere anymore. Hinch''s commentary for champ car races was great and his website''s pretty cool too, unfortauntely I haven''t seen much Atlantic racing but you''ve gotta feel for the guy considering champ car was his dream. At the end of the day you take what you can get though so I''d like to see him graduate to the Indycar scene by 2010. Wonder what the chances are Tracy might drive for the Lights team if there''s still no full time Indycar gig for him in ''09?

Just last week I read an article that Williams were putting a bunch of resources back into this years car, which is all well and good...until next year. This is probably the biggest sign yet that they just don't have the $ to compete with the top teams when it comes to investing in resources anymore. I'm definitely not 'convinced' about Sam Michael either, but who knows how much blame really rests on his shoulders, if any? As for Fernando, if he can just tone it down to 110% he'll be in good shape!

That''s unfortunate for Katherine, I enjoy her columns on crash.net and she seems like a top chick. Wasn''t the fastest in champcars but she was no disgrace either. Hope she gets a result or two to smile about before the season is out.

Seems like a bit of a sideways step for Nando..can''t see it happening. Surely Vettel owns that seat.

(Con't) Williams look like they've fallen to the back of the midfield, and if they're not careful Honda might even surpass them with a couple more good results in unusual races. It's still going to be an intense battle between Toyota, Red Bull and Renault for 4th... Whatever the outcome it should be quite the show.. I just wish we got to see more of it, we see a lot of Hamilton but not much else...

Alonso4ever: I wouldn't expect to much, podiums might be a possibility if a few of the front runners strike dramas, but a win would be only be possible through exceptional circumstances. Alonso has certainly changed his attitude from the start of the year, he seemed a bit disillusioned that the car was so off the pace and was happy enough to crash trying for a top 5. Now that he realises 6th, 7th or 8th are possible AND realistic under normal circumstances, Renault should be able to challenge Red Bull & Toyota for 4th in the constructors. They've got their work cut out for them thou, Webber looks strong at most cicruits and Trulli can provide a challenge when the tracks suit the Toyota...
