Funny if this is true. Imagine all drivers joining McLaren over time come out with the same story.

I think rejection from Honda has hurt the "most experienced driver" badly. Of course speaking against Honda will not attract much attention, but speaking against Ferrari will do. With the popularity of Ferrari for what it is: millions of fans and plenty, if very few compared with the fans, that would crucify the most succesful team in F1 Barrichello hopes to stay in the limelight. I would have thought he would have retired gracefully but who am I to hope.

That proves one thing clear and transparent. The voting fans are really knowledgeable and can appreciate talent. Than who knows he could have been voting for himself....

If I am correct Mr Walker was silent throughtout the season. Now he is telling us and most importantly the teams whom they should choose and who is going to recover and other. Now nobody doubts and I am not going to be one that he knows plenty about F1 and the ins and outs, normally people that dedicate a whole life should do, but please again are we or F1 fundis better placed to decide the interests of a team? I think not.

I am pleased to notice that we the fans and posters know better than the teams their drivers. Bourdais is another driver and obviously the team is looking for a complete package in their drivers (driving ability, fitting best in F1, sponsors they may bring etc. etc. So when STR decides I am sure they will make the correct decision even if we fans do not agree with it.

Why a team that has two very good drivers will designate one of them No. 1 and insist on that for 5 seasons? It is absurd in my opinion. An excellent example is McLaren, even if they are not admitting it. When they signed Alonso they wanted a No. 1 driver to be assisted by Hamilton, who was a rookie and I am sure Ron did not trust much before the season started. Once he realized that he was wrong, let us admit it Hamilton has what it takes to be No.1 they had to drop one of them. Alonso was the one to go and was replaced by Heiki who is now acting like Rubens did at the beginning of each season. "This year is my year". They have too they are human and they must cover for their misfortune.

Jack McGhee everybody is allowed to criticize any public figure, we are living in a global world and all of us are open to criticism. Perhaps I should refer you to your post of 1 day 19 hours ago as I write this. Perhaps you will understand what I am talking about. I notice as well that whenever some are reminded of the truth as seen by the rest resort to expletives because have some problem in expressing themselves without them. Enjoy your day...

I notice ramjam 69 has a perfect database on all the faults of Ferrari and their drivers in his answer to rich ard. Funny he will remember Austria 2002 but most conveniently he has an amnesia when it comes to dates just past... One thing is obvious Schumi will stick in the throats of plenty. Excellence is very much absent in mediocrity....

Schumi on this one is 100% right. Rubens is one of those drivers that make up the field. It is obvious we need some of them otherwise we will have only a field of 5 or 6 racers in each GP and that will not be fun. I will rate "Kamikaze" (hope I spelt it right) Sato much more of a driver than the most experienced Rubens. Nice record to beat the previous non entity holding it was Patrese another one to make up the field.
