Since you asked Bob… Stonner was on Michelins in 2006, when did he helped develop Brigestones? He simply inherited them into last years' Championship. There you go, it was easy!

Dani’s instructions by Puig: “Bottom line, you have to beat the top Yamaha”… Dani’s understanding: “Top line, I have to beat the bottom Yamaha”…

@ ALISTAIR . It’s kind of hard on HRC, 8 wins out of 97 since Biaggi left, but then again, Max did not get any wins with Repsol HRC in 2005 (nor Barros in 2004), so it comes to 9 wins out of 162 since Rossi left!

@le star. “Dani pedrosa don't need a championship to prove that he's the best!!!!”… You are right, Pedrosa does not need ‘One’ MotoGP Championship, he now needs 7 of them to prove it! (Because lately someone almost has 6)...

46 now with 69! In dry, in wet, with wind, without wind, with satellite, with factory, with Aprilia, with Honda, with Yamaha, with Michelin, with Brigestone, with great tyres, with shredded tyres, against Champions, against Rokies, against experienced riders, against brave novice, with 10 second penalties (twice), with 10 second advantage, playing leader, playing catch up, under pressure, applying pressure, with the best package, without a good package (2004), overcoming problems, without problems, at home tracks, at any track (except Istanbul), with injury, without injury… all these for a decade it’s been Rossi against one other rider, but always Rossi! With 125, 250, 500, 990 close 800!

@Laterrus Talley. SORRY my mistake, of course. I had Welkom as Pakisa Freeway, so you are right, Rossi has not won only at Istanbul. @Kwaka. In 2000 and 2001, there were only 16 races in the calendar: 13/32 = 41% average wins for Rossi on satellite team (great components but still satellite). In 2004 (crappy bike) and 2005, there were 16 and 17 races respectively: 20/33 = 61% average wins on starting 2 years on a factory team. In 2006, Stoner was on satellite with no wins. In 2007 there were 18 races and in 2008 there have been 14 so far: 14/32 = 44% average wins on starting 2 years on a factory team.

@ canadaeh. Because Rossi was stock with Michelins for the whole ’07 season, he did not change at 2/3 of the Championship. Now most riders must ask if anybody can do it at any time, not good for contracts is it? @Jeremy Burger. They wanted to change the naked celebration for the Champaign girl!

What about winning in all the actual calendar circuits? In fact, of all the circuits that Rossi has competed in 500cc or MotoGP, only at Istanbul [EDITED (and Welkom) was wrong] has not won. Bring it back so that Rossi breaks the record of winning at every circuit he has competed.
