JT has obviously found an excuse for his poor performance this year... He had better outperform Colin next year or he should be out from MotoGP in 2010 and take his team politics along with him....and Simoncelli will take his place! Never heard of teams changing crew chiefs around without prior consultation with BOTH riders!

i'm not a kawasaki fan and do find it strange they continue to race with substandard machines...you have got to wonder if it wouldn't do them less harm to pull out altogether, or invest in one series only? they do seem to to do allright on the motocross scene...

Agree some good comments and an interesting discussion. Not sure which way to sway.. I think Mika Kallio said he found it harder moving up to 250cc 2 stroke from 125 cc than from 250cc to Moto GP class. I am not sure if this is the right way Moto GP should be going. In my opinion MotoGP bikes should be the hardest bikes to ride so you actually see the best riders succeed on them. Also, I don't think bike manufacturers entirely rely on racing to develop cutting edge technology. Look at BMW, they developped many interesting engineering solutions for motorbikes without having a factory presence in racing. They will from next year, but I think it is more a branding / marketing venture into racin

Ducati could have pushed for him to go to sterilgarda in WSB... Ducati expect loyalty from their customers, but they certainly don't give out a good example with their riders... shame we lose Guintoli, he's a fast rider but most of all he's not a moaner...
