F1 » Alonso insists Ferrari position was priority

METEORO: @whitew.....jesus!!! have you not the races for last few years? it´s obvious that you hate him, did you not hear that hes been voted best driver by his peers and team managers, but of course what do they know? get your facts right.
When was the last time Alonso won.......... over a year ago. Dont see managers queuing to take him off their hands. I admit he is a good driver but will never be WDC again.

F1 » Alonso insists Ferrari position was priority

benignlyindifferent: Much ado about nothing. The switch to a three stop strategy was impulsive and understandable, though he immediately came out in traffic and lost some time. Kimi had two laps to change strategy and remain ahead but the two stop looked promising. It worked out slightly better for Alonso but really, both men's talents are being wasted for the moment in a car that is very ordinary.
Great drivers can drive even an ordinary car. Vettel went from 15th to 4th in a car that he hardly drove all weekend.
