F1 » Horner: No words for Vettel’s run

Murhp64 November 05, 2013 5:01 AM Paul, yes I'm going to tell you the cars are even, Horner has said numerous times they have the same car and set up. Hey Murphy , ive got a bridge in Brooklyn to seel to you on the cheap. You believe everything you hear as the gospel? As in Moto GP even the top manufacturers will say that the factory bikes are the same for the riders in a team but it is clearly never the case I cite 2007 Hayden / Pedrosa at Honda. Even though Hayden had just won the Championship the bike was being developed for the physically smaller Pedrosa by Hayden at Hondas requestbecause he was deemed the future by Honda for their Moto GP program in the factory team. Its the same in F1 and if you actually spoke to people who were honest theyd tell you the same not publicity puppets looking to throw the public a bone.

@Tomcol All of the drivers are prima donnas. I want to see more competition for wins not just some guy walking away with the title. If you have won three titles with one team why not take a leap of faith to test your skills with a lesser team to see if you are as truly good as everyone says you are and not relying on a superior car? Im not blaming the car manufacturer for doing what they should be doing in giving the driver the best car, im saying to prove any doubters wrong, and im not alone, by taking another seat and duplicating the dominant wins.

@ Ptolemy You should think about what youre saying. Its been a long know fact that the number two driver doesnt have the exact equipment as the number 1 driver on the team. Most of the resources are provided to the driver who is most likely to give you the title. Once again I refer to Moto gp and the current case of Lorenzo and Rossi at Yamaha.

@Richard richard November 04, 2013 8:56 PM paul. the three most important words are...THE....BEST...DRIVER! Richard, If he is truly the best do like Hamilton and take a risk to move to another team to see if you get the same results. If he were to get the same results then id be convinced. Not saying he isnt great with the package he has but step out of the bubble of the best package to see if you can win on other machinery. Its been done before by a guy in Moto GP named Rossi, you may have heard of him when he won World Championships with Honda then switched to Yamaha and did the same. THATS greatness.

MotoGP » Rossi salvages sixth after costly excursion

Its unfortunate that there is so much emotion being injected into these posts instead of common sense or logic. I would advise most that post on here to not only continue watching the GP racing but go watch their local tracks to watch loal talent at the national level, club level and then tray track days themselves before posting so that when you see a block pass, someone backing it in , late braking etc not only will you have a better perspective on our sport but you will be better informed about riders and rider techniques.

I agree with Paolino's statement and ask everyone who's criticizing Rossi's performances 1. Do you race? 2. can you set up your bike let alone a GP machine? 3 most importantly who are you gonna get to challenge the top three besides the 9 times WORLD CHAMP because if results speak louder than words Rossi's lap times after the off track excursion as well as him consistently beating everyone but the top three speaks for itself. 4 Rossi is quite a bit older than his competitors These arent excuses they are facts
