MotoGP » How Marquez can be champion at Motegi

I hate to be the bearer of bad news for those who want to see the championship done and dusted but the smart money says this one's going down to the last race. Just like an Arturo Gatti and Mickey Ward fight both have traded blows and with the gift JLo received from race direction for MM not following directions as well as MM having benefitted from JLo and Pedro both breaking their collarbones early in the season new life has been pumped into the championship. All in all whomever winds up Champion will truly have been proven worthy this year.

MotoGP » Record 19 rounds on provisional 2014 MotoGP calendar

They should have removed the Indianapolis round from the calendar as it isnt even a true moto GP track(Oval with an infield just built in) and there are more flowing tracks in the United States with just as much technicality i.e. Barber, miller, Elk Hart Lake wisconsin i could go on. At least Laguna had the history and exciting elevation changes.

MotoGP » Rossi hails 'positive' podium return

@DRealDea Youre partly correct and partly wrong. A true appreciates all riders as all of the riders at this level are stars in their own right. You say that 2 championships is nothing to boast about but if it were so easy then why is it that since 2000 only Kenny Roberts Jr, Rossi, Hayden, Stoner and JLo are the only ones to have won a Championship with Rossi, Jlo, and Stoner being the only multi winners. Hell, winning ONLY ONE is ridicuously hard let alone 2.

MotoGP » Rossi hails 'positive' podium return

Amusing that most of the bandwagoneers on here were probably once Rossi fans themselves until he started winning so much. Similar to the Stoner haters that were once his biggest fans until he started making winning look too easy. I can only surmise that the same negative attitude toward Marquez will eventually surface by the same people who are singing his praises now. Rossi is legend no matter how you may look at him now. He has done what very few save Agostini has accomplished and is still competitive. All of you non racers would do well to just watch ,learn, and appreciate racing from the man instead of criticizing him because when he is gone we all who view Moto GP will be wishing he were still here.

F1 » F1 2013 POLL: Is it time to stop booing Sebastian Vettel?

People want competition, not dominance unless youre a fan of the one dominating and even then they want to be able to respect their champion elect if he has grace when winning, manners when speaking to the public , charisma to attract sponsors, and humility towards the sport that allows him to showcase his talent and compete against others like himself in the true spirit of competition. Maybe time will tell but maybe it is because many do not see a combination of these qualities in Vettel. Sometimes like a fine wine or beautiful art age brings about these qualities so maybe he has not had the time to truly understand what is expected of a champion.
