MotoGP » Indianapolis MotoGP - Race Results

like Rossi would ride comfortably around in third place just watching and observing where the others are weak as well as where they are strong and waiting for his tires to come good and for the others to fall into a predictable rhythm where he attacks. This tactic can be beaten by just reversing it on the said rider. The others better learn , and quick, to stop letting this young gun learn their moves until they can combat his checkmate move.

MotoGP » Indianapolis MotoGP - Race Results

Congrats to Marquez. The young gun has great talent. A young improved version of rossi i'd say but wait, not so fast. His race craft, and that is what it is and quite evident to anyone whos ever raced or ridden top level on the track, does have the ability to be beaten if the other "aliens" didnt get pushed into a punchers tactics from being a boxer. Let me explain. Lorenzo goes about trying to decimate the field by setting a blistering pace which normally others cant match early on and by the end the gap is to far to contend with and all he has to do is mange the gap. Rossi , not the best qualifier but obviously more suited to better results in the race, is able to adjust his tactis to suit the situation . Since the Yamahas and Hondas are so evenly matched most of the time trying to get away wont happen for either during the race. All Marquez is doing is "crafting" his race based on the tactics of the front runners evidenced by today as well as three weeks ago in laguna where he, li

MotoGP » HAVE YOUR SAY: Name your US MotoGP star!

The Rise of Marquez storyline? Hahahaha, that's funny...i mean Marquez has done nought all to generate this much interest...all down Carmelo it is.... @Cubikrube, what Shamarone may be saying is that it was strange how Carmelo helped to do away with the rookie rule just as Marquez hit the scene. No doubt he has talent but in the "normal" world one doesnt necessarily start their career as one of the board of directors and then work their way down. If they do , please tell me where they're hiring. Other than that it has to go to bradl or espargaro. Both of whom have been riding really well for their respective teams.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: 'Bautista becomes a little bit crazy'

Yet again we see bautista's reckless riding cause him a trim to the gravel trap. If this doesn't get race direction to do something then nothing will. One more thing. Those of you who are comparing him to Simoncelli, please stop. One of these riders had a bright future ahead of himself in Moto GP and was listening and learning from his mistakes and others criticism of his riding . The other continues to basically flaunt his aggro style in the face of officials daring them to do something and has learned nothing.

MotoGP » Rossi: Bautista 'closed the line, but I was in front'

Out of all of the naysayers to Rossi's clutch problems or supposed "excuses" i ask. do you race? Have you ever been on a track? Do you know the proper line? More importantly if beaten out of the turn by a clear bike length who would agree to bautista s move. I dont race near this level but can tell you this even with ear plugs i can hear and see ( as your head is supposed to be on the swivel looking to the next turn) other riders beside me or coming up. Please dont be ignorant when making assumptive statements about who was at fault here. Its obvious.

MotoGP » Mugello MotoGP: Rossi, Bautista clash declared 'racing incident'

Lorenzo managed to regain some very valuable points from the race and young Marquez learned a very valuable lesson that "to finish first, first you must finish". Yes Bautista's and Rossi's coming together was an unfortunate incident that could have seen Rossi challenging the riders up front as this is his home track. but the real issue here is that rider safety is being brushed aside for the sake of entertaining fans appetite for close racing. We have seen riders collisions before with a notable Jerez this year but as Lorenzo said after that incident these things will happen as this is racing but there are rules in place to protect the riders and ensure that riders ride with respect and safely, if not then they are to be assessed penalties under the point system by race direction. Not to throw anyone under the bus but this type of incident has been too frequent on the part of Bautista. Something needs to be done before we have another Simoncelli incident that would not only rob ano

MotoGP » MotoGP Jerez: Marquez, Lorenzo last turn clash - PICTURES

Lol, a very interesting chain of events. The season is long and action like this will put a smile on viewers faces but believe me anyone who's ever been on the track and had this maneuver happen to them will A. wonder why they didn't ride more defensively even if they were trying to carry corner speed from a wide line for a race to the finish. B. brake earlier and just let the oncoming rider overshoot the turn as Marquez had just done 2 turns prior and go back underneath him. Its truly on now as Spaniard blood is boiling.

MotoGP » Schwantz, Kagayama, Haga to race Suzuka 8 Hours!

Whatever happened to the old addage of respecting ones elders? Its truly appaling how many negative comments some of the legends get on here. Nothing wrong with speaking ones mind mind you but give respect where its due. Old or not, Schwantz and Haga have put in their time in both domestic series as well as international and both , even now are more accomplished and far superior riders than any of the lot commenting negatively about them on here. Last i checked nobody commenting on here is a GP Champion nor have they ever competed in the series.
