Forget McLaren. How about fining the stewards in Oz for not listening to the radio transmissions in the first place. They had access to them LIVE!(!) during the race, and had recordings of them to listen to. So WHY THE HELL DIDN'T THEY USE THEM in their first investigation? A bunch of 5 year olds could have got that right.
Smells of Spanky Max picking & choosing his 'friends' as stewards *again*. Why doesn't the sad, pathetic man grow up.

Donington given extra time to save British GP
It would be a shame if Donnington doesn't host the British GP, more so it would be a shame that Britain wouldn't be able to boast of being a nation with two circuits up to F1 standards. Let's hope Gillet can prove the 'nation of doubters' wrong. (Yes, I'm a Brit too). If he can't, then bring on Silverstone...

Day of reckoning for McLaren
6 agree.
1 disagrees.
Anything more than a slap on the wrist and a 'Don't do it again' will just prove Spanky Max's vendetta against McLaren. They've already recieved a penalty. LEAVE IT!

FIA will be 'very fair' with McLaren, suggests Ecclestone
9 agree.
1 disagrees.
Hopefully it'll be as 'fair' as when Schumacher lied over his 'little accident' at Monaco 2006, during qualifying. 'Honest gov, it was an accident'. 'Er, no Michael, you pulled up to stop Alonso getting pole position - you cheated & lied, but we'll give you no further penalty than drop you to the back of the grid for this race.' I can't stand how much the FIA smells.

Ecclestone: I have 'nothing against Silverstone'
5 agree.
With Hamilton winning last years championship & Button (fingers sooooooo crossed) winning this years championship it would be disillusional not to have a British GP. For Christ's sake, Germany got 2 with the Schumacher era! Silverstone will HAVE to come back if Donnington fails. If it doesn't I for one will be walking away.

F1's return to the BBC – what did you think?
8 agree.
Big thumbs up. Never used the 'red button' before, but will be using it again - it's advantages (none of which ITV had) 1) Highlights of races of previous years at that circuit on the Friday night - great reminiscing! 2) All practices *with commentry!* (Anthony Davidson - superb) 3) During race they had continuous images of on-board coverage. With the bonous on NO ADVERTS we even had to move the kettle into the lounge...

Button: Oz win 'fairytale' end to traumatic winter
2 agree.
2 disagree.
BBC coverage not better? Did you use the red button?!?! Pre-practice sessions & qually they showed non-stop highlights of previous races at that circuit (& will be doing so for EVERY race). All practice sessions were shown with commentary. ITV had it on the web with no commentry.... and during the race there was a constant channel with the BBC showing 'on car' footage. We had BBC on the TV, FIA timing on one laptop & the 'on-car' feed on another laptop via the BBC. (Sad I know!) Plus - NO BL00DY ADVERTS!!! YAY! Taz - the race coverage (pictures) are determined by the counrty hosting the race - so it would have been the same pics ITV or BBC....
