Forget McLaren. How about fining the stewards in Oz for not listening to the radio transmissions in the first place. They had access to them LIVE!(!) during the race, and had recordings of them to listen to. So WHY THE HELL DIDN'T THEY USE THEM in their first investigation? A bunch of 5 year olds could have got that right.

Smells of Spanky Max picking & choosing his 'friends' as stewards *again*. Why doesn't the sad, pathetic man grow up.

Pete73 - gotta agree with you - biggest gaffe of 2008 was the stewards 'decision' at Spa. Closely followed of course by the FIA voting Spanky Max to continue as their 'leader'.

Please excuse my shouting - WHAT HAS SPANKY MAX GOT TO DO TO RESIGN?!?! He's even admitting it's the FIA's fault - he heads it - why doesn't he get on his bike once and for all?!? I'm sure most F1 fans are looking forward to the day he FINALLY bu99ers off!

Benoit - as a Frenchman you should have remembered Loeb raced a (French) Pescarolo at (French) Le Mans in '05 - therefore he HAS experience of passing people & racing.... I honestly think he'd give quite a few current drivers on the grid a run for their money.

Toyota wont be going anywhere. They have the most to gain out of this. It's the luxuary cars that aren't selling - just go look at the figures. Why do people say such nonsence on here sometimes? As for 'Honda' next year read it as Ferrari 'B' team - under whatever guise....

Positions on the grid don't matter if it rains - we all know Massa can't drive in the wet.... Go Lewis - the Championship is yours!

Lewis, you should have no worries this weekend - Raceday has 'heavy showers' forecast! You do the driving & I'll be counting how many times Massa piroettes off the circuit. Happy days!

Ellie - agree with you. My weekends have stopped revolving around F1, I now record it, try not to hear the result and watch it 'as live' when I want, usually late on the Sunday.... but as Lewis can wrap it up this weekend I'll be getting up & watching live, then going to see some proper racing at Brands Hatch!

Can't quite get what you are getting at there 'Silver & Black' (?) - but, according to the BBC the weather is supposed to be dry Sat (qually) & heavy showers Sun (Race). In which case Lewis will whip everyone's backsides (well, maybe Vettel will do well again) and Massa will do his customary pirouetting off the circuit... And if it doesn't rain Lewis will still be finishing ahead of Massa, then the MaFIA will come along and change it.
