Forget McLaren. How about fining the stewards in Oz for not listening to the radio transmissions in the first place. They had access to them LIVE!(!) during the race, and had recordings of them to listen to. So WHY THE HELL DIDN'T THEY USE THEM in their first investigation? A bunch of 5 year olds could have got that right.

Smells of Spanky Max picking & choosing his 'friends' as stewards *again*. Why doesn't the sad, pathetic man grow up.

Dice - you're fine example of the ''now, now, now, me, me, me, society' we now appear to live in. So what if news is a few days old? I still haven't read all of Sunday's newspaper yet... As for Ferraris KERS device. No worries, Ferrari's system wont work so they wont bother putting it on their cars, several races in the MaFIA will ban it thereby disqualifying all cars with it fitted making it a 1-2 for Ferrari's.... for the previous races. Oh dear.... I've just given the MaFIA an idea. Sorry all! Oh, and aren't Force India talking to McLaren??? That'll give Spanky Max another team to try and bully...

Get well soon Paul!! Been a few years since I last caught you - Phillip Island 2001(?!?), but was also great seeing you in BTCC in the 90's. Hope to see you back in a car as soon as you're comfortable.

Clip & link fine for me, though it shows nothing we didn't know. A) It was Hekki that ran Kimi wide at turn 1. If Hekki had been penalised so should half the field behind him. Why Lewis was penalised only the MaFIA will know. B) Massa ballsed up his turn in, allowing Lewis past, then Massa drives into him. Correct penalty. C) Massa has his blinkers on & hits Seb. Certainly not the other way round. Incorrect penalty & buy stewards glasses... I honestly can't believe anyone could say anything differnt - it's all OBVIOUS!!! Does anyone know the names of the stewards at Japan?? - would like to find out their history. I.e - Spa's stewards were just 'returning favours' to Spanky Max.

Mucking Fuddle - 100% agree... I watched the race still drunk from the night before, I though it was me getting the cars mixed up (Hekki & Lewis). It certainly wasn't.... *Hekki* ran Kimi wide, not Lewis, and personally I don't think Hekki should have been penalised either. A racing incident on the first corner... that's all it was, and it happens nearly all the time with no pentalities being handed out. So why now? = MaFIA.

1) Hamilton 2) Kubica 3) Massa Or am I being a bit optimistic the FIA will allow that? WHOEVER wins this season has been tainted by 'made up' results.

I'm going to be checking the F1 website every hour 'til the race to see what excuse they use to push Hamilton back down the grid. FIA rules Chapter 34.523, paragraph 6351.32, sentance 4321.7654: Thou must not smile in wry fashion at a Ferrai driver when being weighed after qualifying. Dam... shouldn't have said that - the MaFIA are now going to look at the evidence....

All Spanky Max is doing is stating the bleedin' obvious. AS by far the majority wish for, he should get out of F1, and 'spend more time with his family' as they all do, oh, hang on, I mean 'spend more time with his mistresses'. The guy is a *joke*.

Got to agree with di Montezemolo that if it wasn''t for the saftey car (& cars on different pit stop strategies) it wouldn''t have been an exciting race. F1 needs to watch out that - it''s loosing the ''overtaking'' & a bit too much emphasis is glitz & glamour these days. Singapore was certainly ''spectacular'', but comparing *the circuit* Silverstone has to better for *racing*.... and it''s leaving the calender....???? It all makes as much sence as the banking system.
