Saw bits of the 2nd practice too Barry, as you say, good to see HK up there (will help in the constructors championship!) & agree it's incredible how Alonso gets that Renault around the circuit so quickly. There's a bit of flattery having NP(Jnr) as a team mate but not that much!

Nice to see Lewis on top. Long may he stay there! I watched first practice, spectacular circuit, def looks like someone has gone a bit mental with the Scalextric accessories though.... Hope the race is one to remember.

Just watched that first practice. Is it just me or does the Singapore circuit look like someone has gone mad in a Scalextric shop? Not in a bad way. They’ve bought every piece possible, including ‘scenery stuff’ and, well, gone a bit mental. Pretty spectacular. Far more importantly, let’s hope the racing is too.

Who cares what Ferrari MaFIA get up to?? Lewis is going to win it anyway :o) Que Richy Rich diving for cover from the Massa lovers..... Have to agree with Fittipaldi''s comments on Vettel though, Lewis needs to get that championship under his belt before Vettel truely comes on song otherwise he''ll have some true competition.

TooGood_2Tell – WRT to Massa’s overtaking manoeuvres ‘on track’ I put my hands up, he does do it now & then. The races you refer to (Canada ‘08) he overtook two cars….. RB & NP. A ‘backmarker’ and a nervous rookie. Well done Massa!! And the other – Hungary ’08. Yes, he took LH & HK at the start….. then blew his engine. I take my anorak off…. You can put yours on and tell me how many times LH has overtaken. You’ll be a while, there’s been many more….. I stand by the fact LH is a better racer – he overtakes far more often. Again, no offence to Massa, but so far this year I believe (just my opinion!) he hasn’t proved himself a worthy World Champion. Lookin’ forward to that roast!

I seriously hope Hamilton 'races' to the F1 Drivers Championship... no offence to Massa, but when was the last time he overtook anybody (on the circuit?). As said previously, I'll be 'Sunday Roasting' in the pub on Sunday.... I'll catch the 'stewards results' when I get back. I'll be sticking with going down to Brands Hatch for some club racing - better racing by a long shot & less of the excrement.

Well, it may be F1's first night race this weekend, but the days of me being an avid follower of F1 are near over, I'll be down the pub Sunday having a Sunday Roast - sod the race. I may record it, & watch it later, but that doesn't matter as the 'stewards' wont have chosen their winner by then anyway. How sad....

Agree 100% Shirley - McLaren HAVE to protest, if only purely to clarify the rules. We live in a society where there is a right to protest/appeal (in theory!) & so should the F1 world. Looking forward to hearing the result.....
