So we will quickly recap. Rossi/Yamaha start the season on unfamiliar tyres, takes 3 races to gather race data, while claiming good points. Finds settings to suit and starts to win. Stoner/Ducati fight back mid season, admirably you have to say and enough to scare Rossi/Yamaha. Then the defining race of the season, Laguna, where the true champion quality of Rossi came out. Not only did he beat Stoner, he destablised him and the rest is history. Stoner was the fastest rider of 2008, but Rossi was the faster racer. 10/10 is not enough 11..12..

Rossi edges Pedrosa as 2008 ends.

The wall is a team decision by all Yamaha personnel. It allows the riders and engineers to concentrate on what they are doing and not be distracted by the other side of the garage. All Yamaha data is shared anyway. However, the Ducati garage must have been a hive of harmony, with Stoner regularly making offensive gestures to his 'team mate', aswell as others, on track. How did Melandri feel when he got back to the garage after Ducati's golden boy did that to him. Bet Melandri would have loved a wall. Still Rossi dished it out to Stoner where it mattered, on the track and in the race, and we all saw the true Stoner at Laguna.

Rossi 2008: The numbers.

This is a article about Rossi and 'factual' figures for his 2008 season. It is the Rossi haters that are baiting other true objective fans with thier 'if' and 'but' comments. Stoner got beat fair and square. Now if any Motogp team was told they could have a choice of Rossi or Stoner in thier team who would they pick? Be objective and be honest. We all know the answer they would give without hesitation.

Well it all bodes well for a good race. If Rossi was running faster through practice that would be the race done. So good job Stoner is there. Mr Lorenzo only tends to get faster as a race runs on so it is not inconcievable that he could win it. Hope Dani gets a good start, which is likely, and we could be in for a right treat. Stoners injury is not really worth mentioning as riders have ridden with alot worse. Oscar I prefer french onion soup, De Puniet style.

Bob Not nice of you to refer to Casey as Krusty, though I can understand it when he keeps getting covered in gravel. His fans are only behind him for the win though, and you shouldn't knock this, as he is up against it since he has to race and cannot tear off anymore.
