You just know, reading between the lines, that that is the biggest pile of BS on Hondas part.

Why not just say "Reposol pay the bill and we want to develop the bike for the Spanish mafia now in charge of MotoGP"

I sincerely hope Hayden dumps all over the Honda team next year.

After his comments yesterday about MotoGP being too boring, how can he contemplate even going to F1? I think this has more to do with an end of season jolly, as i imagine Rossi has alot of influence in Italy and it would be good publicity for Ferrari to have someone with a personality in their car, rather than to the two dead heads currently employed to drive them. :)

So Hollywoods finest actor is making his comeback, how can anyone forget his powerful, yet emotional part in MotoGP 01 through to 06, playing the part of a seriously injured Spanish soldier who forces himself through an enduring pain barrier, both physically and mentally as the beat up down trodden son of a donkey who was lorded over by Lord Rossi of Yamaha Italia. But, like any fried breakfast after 10 pints of Guiness, he back, bigger and bolder than ever to hopefully over throw the evil empire that Lord Rossi of Italia has created. With bit parts by the puppet king Pedrobot and half man half kangeroo, Sir Case of Stoner it's anticipated to be the biggest blockbuster of 2009...enjoy!

Skater, Just read through that and found myself nodding at nearly every word Rossi said. Trouble is you can't uninvent the wheel, and to change the regs again back to 990's, the world would go into meltdown! The variety has gone in such a short time, a few years back with the 990, we had a 3 cylinder, a V5, V4, inline 4, now we have a form of production racing, everything is so simarlar. WSB is so more exciting, more people can ride on the edge and over it, and there is two bites of the cherry with two races a day. Espelata panicked with the 990's, cos he didn't know what he was doing, a bit like the one make tyre rule and all the electronics now. Sack Dorna, bloody useless

If they were that sorry, how come they didn''t sort him a ride on the WSB Suzuki then? Good luck to Sykes, looks like all the best brit talent will be racing outside the UK next year...be interesting to see who can ''step up'' to be top Brit home rider in 09.

Anybody who knows anything about Ant West, will know what a top 250 & WSS rider he is, especially after his performances in WSS. Shame it didn't really work out for him, i suppose Kawasaki blew their budget on getting Hopkins onboard and the development Hopkins was doing didn't suit Westies style. Anyway he's probably best out of it, as with any racer you have to enjoy what you are doing and i can't see him enjoying 2008 much. But he is an hard working rider, despite all his problems you didn't seeing blubbing his top lip like some so called professional riders this year, WSS have gained a top 3 contender for the championship for next year...good luck to him.

Matt, I've been emailing the BBC every month for the past 6 months, even to their sports editor and had no reply whatsoever. Bikes come pretty far down the list in the BBC priorities, especially with them also getting F1 rights too next year, it seems very grim as you know F1 will get the drop over MotoGP and what about 125/250....good while it lasted. It must be something that Eurosport seem to do well, as i never really followed BSB until Eurosport started doing it this year, must be just the way they package the event and do the re-run during the week, so you've always got a chance to drop onto coverage at some point.

Pure greed on FG sports effort, deserve to have their greedy little italian hands slapped hard. As for the so called club racers slagging JP, did you ever use Oulton Park before he was in charge, if so you would realise what ***** facilities we had at a great track, from what i see JP has invested alot of money into the infrastructure at Oulton and other MSV owned curcuits. Oulton is now a proper curcuit with a proper paddock with electricity (laugh ye not) i would rather pay the extra than go to some ****** little outpost with a mud paddock. There are loads of tracks in the UK, in fact i'd say we are spolit and if you don't like a MSV owned track there is plenty of others to choose

I hope Troy tops out with a double win this weekend, he has been Mr.WSB (even when he was in MotoGP)for nearly a decade in BSB & WSB, a top bloke and a well deserved world champion. in a world where electronics seem to make racers, Bayliss is old skool hardcore no bull****, his epic battle with Edwards in 2002 summing up the great man. Good luck Troy, your style will be missed in racing no matter which championship it is.
