And the comment about Scott being big and needs more power etc as this hinders him, now that MM has left moto2 now has a combined bike&rider weight so Scott no longer has that disadvantage, infact based on his size it may be an advantage as ballast can upset a bike/rider a lot until sorted ( see dani last year at season start with the last minute kg bump Honda got)

@billy I can read. As was proven by reading your ill informed hate post. You clearly were stating fact on why braders should not be in gp and who would be better so I foolishly assumed you had some knowledge above the people that picked him? @cubic No my facts don't show my aim of Bradley is superior, they just show he is. In Bradley rookie year in moto 2 (reddings second) smith nearly doubled points on Scott and yet the mistral wad only podium'd by smith yet others did podium on Scott's suter? Again I am not hating on Scott I like him too but even you are guilty of looking past facts and seeing what you like? Smith should and I am sure is aiming higher, if he makes it or not we will all see but a chance for him would be good. And the comment about Scott being big and needs more power etc as this hinders him, now that MM has left moto2 now has a combined bike&rider weight so Scott no longer has that disadvantage, infact based on his size it may be an advantage as ballast can upset a bi

MotoGP » Ben Spies to miss Spanish MotoGP

Sorry to say but this is the end of the end for spies. Possibly crushed under the weight of his over expecting fans!! Real sad to see a once good racer dwindle down but as don-r has said he is a shadow of his former self and look uninterested in anything bike or go related. Hope they get a decent replacement for him mid season as I would be surprised to see him return!! I hope he recovers soon.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: Everything came together for Marquez

@Falcon WTF??? are you having a Giraffe mate!! Wise words spoken by Jorge indeed, BUT the Electronics on these bikes get better and better and it was a LONG time ago he touched the moon with that China Highside, In someway's it is "safer" now for these but then they go faster so swings and roundabouts. Front Ends and MAYBE a big highside at tracks like Mugello/Estoril et al may beckon for him but he seems impervious to crashes at present..time will tell. I still think it is Dani Vs Jorge with cameos from MM and Rossi (and Cal?)

Yes but Cal was in his second YEAR last year? in his first 5 races (rookie year) he managed 11,8,8,DNF,7 so hardly set the world alight. He did not get manage a top 5 till Valencia (4th) and only 1 6th the entire season so if bradley manages to beat those stats (and he should) he has done well. In contrast JT came in QF 2nd in his first race and finished 6th and then followed that up with 6 top 6 finishes in his first season, and then his second was a step down not up, cal did the opposite and went up, All I am saying is give the kid some time to get into his stride!

AND STOP WITH REDDING.. Better , More Years and still less wins than Smith career and As many wins as Smith in Moto 2 (and they are even on Moto 2 WC positions Smith beat Redding first year (easily) and the other way round in year 2.. Facts ladies and gentle men. Just give him time to get to the front group (after the Obvious 3 +1) Redding 5 Years = 1 win / 9 Podiums / 1 Pole Bradley 7 Years = 3 Wins / 23 Podiums / 9 Poles And Scott only go this Pole Last weekend. Scott is good but ANYONE without stupid goggles on can see Smith is the superior Talent at this point, Stats talk better than hunches!! Hell even the Stand In rider on the second Factory Yamaha Managed a Second place in 1 race , 100% more than spies did the entire season so the bike cannot be all bad!!

I am sure BS knows he and is aiming to be higher, Austin was a "Confidence" and a finish. At Jerez he will be aiming for Top 5-6 No doubt so give the guy a chance. Bradl gets so much Bigging up but in his second year (now a near 100% factory Honda) he still has NO PODIUMS infact lets look at the grid now and how many Podiums they have made last season and this. Dovi = 6 Rossi = 3 Cal = 2 Bautista = 2 So these guys all deserve a seat right? Spies = 0 Hayden = 0 Bradl = 0 Barbera = 0 Abraham = 0 But these do not considering the top 2 were on Factory and their teammates either podium'd or WON the WC.. and yet they are still in the class on Factory or near as bikes. Bradl was a rookie managed no podiums or Front row starts and got Full Honda Support. All of them get less flak than bradley in his second race. I think all these guys should move aside WAY before a Rookie get called to leave.

Ben spies... Whaa ha ha ha.. Wipes tears of laughter from eyes.... That ship has sailed. @billy Ok mate with your obvious "superior" racing skill than us mere mortals what is your advice to Yamaha, Herve and us other such dulites that no nothing. Why is Bradley such a waste on that bike after 2 whole races? Is it cause his last 2 teammates beat him over more than 1 race a season? Or he was on the best bike in moto 2? Or won less races than Scott? Or the most successful British racer in gp's since Barry sheen?
