Oh yeah Matt also DID Ben manage a podium position in his first race (or even in today test times???) Because the guy he will be racing for Rookie position of the year did when he popped into SBK's on a new team/bike. And don't go down the new bike tyres BS had 3 FULL days last year in Indy on BridgeStones plus the 3 races so they both had a fair start to their FIRST race (although again it was Ben's 4th). I think Ben is great but you obsessive fanboys Do my Nut in, He will win a race next year...So long as Rossi/Danni/Jorge/Stoner stay in bed or fall off!!

Ahem: November 5, 2009 "Nice guy, great Superbike racer, may achieve better than Edwrds. But he will in NO WAY be rookie of year next year that is between Simoncelli/Aoyama and possibly Bautista (if he stays on). He had a great year in (no scratch that amazing) superbikes but an 800cc GP bike on BS tyres must be Nothing like a SBK on standard pirelli tyres!!. IMOP he will be lucky to get a 5th in 10 OR beat edwards. But before the BS fans class me as a hater I like him and wish him the best but these GP's are TOO far removed from a SBK.. and other interesting points Posted by Darkwaknight Yes Matt and your point is?? Big Congrats to Aoyama to a well done and most deserved 250 Champ (the last 250 Japanese Champion since the late,great Dajiro Kato). I bet he partied hard last night..Good luck in 2010 for the rookie title!!

Off Topic but how great was the 125 and 250 Race. great to see Bradley learning to RACE now with some serious overtakes on the last lap. Simon has really matured this year as a racer, hopefully 2010 will be Bradley last year in 125's (it has to be) and he will win the WC although it will be hard. Simoncelli not only losing the WC but second too, a great race Ayoma is a legend fighting for the win (and nearly costing him the WC) when he could have settled for 11th) A great race and i cannot wait too see HA/MS/AB even hector barber who has come on this year in GP next year. With Spies as well it should be a great rookie battle (although my money is on Simoncelli or Ayoma to win that!)

No JT bike was not as fast or as good as Ben spies's bike was for sure.But Even if it was Ben would have still beaten JT, there will almost certainly be alot of stuff that when on in that garage that we will never know about, BUT JT lost faith in himself before the season started and never recovered. Maybe Tech 3 put all the effort and money in CE side after 4-5 races in but then again any team would when the results speak form themselves. BS positon was more a reflection of how much JT head is down as much as BS talent (Alhough fair play and a great first ride!!). I hope JT refinds the person in 08 who started GP he resembled Ben today!!

All I saw was BS getting caught out grabbing a toe of toseland (ironic name now). JT sat up and so did ben..??? why did he not just grab a toe of his new teammate to be?? or is the competition already in place for next year!! Still not bad from BS lets see how he gets on when they Qualify.
