I think Nicky has got of light this year, I used to love his riding style on the 990's and IMOP think he would be a real WC contender in WSBK (Maybe close to spies) but MWC or not he has had a stay of execution now in GP because A)He is a good looking, marketable Lad B)No one else wants to ride the Ducati. With his performace since the move to 800's he was lucky to get another FACTORY ride let alone a second year. And on the "He Beat Melandri in half the season" Yes but melandri has nearly Double the wins of Hayden and the same Seconds (Hayden has 6 more podiums than Marco), but Nicky has always been on Factory bikes. hope he improves But i doubt it, Wud have like to have seen where sete got

This is his best chance of a good result as it is possibly his best Track inc in his Superbike days (except Brands Hatch). @ Monster it is widely regarded it was a shortcut, his laptime (which was on his 13th lap) was nearly .5 second faster than his next fastest lap and was nearly a whole second faster than the lap times around it so almost a given when you look at it. His other fastest lap (his 7th) put him with the joint 12th with JT but .4 faster than Canepa and .3 slower than Kalio. He might be good next year but the 5th Flap is nothing to write home about just yet!!!

Leon did a great job considering the circumstances, Without the technicals he maybe could have got a 6th place which is a great showing indeed. I wonder if he will get another chance at Portimou?

biassed opinions are rife 4 & against Honda. If we look at it like the Rossi/hayden fans do then the Honda has been poor since rossi left? Nope because in 04 Sete was second on it in WC and in 05 MM was second and in 06 NH won. If VR/JB take all the credit for the "BBOTG" this year then they take the flak for the poor chattering bike of 06 and the underpowered bike of 07?? Dani changed tyres last year mid-season KNOWING it would affect him for the rest of the year (is only reason NH beat him all year), this was testing 4 next year but he still managed 3 podiums. Why change 2 ohlins now hunt 4 setting when 3rd in WC is at stake! also how could ducati make a bike for CS in 07?
