Wow, people really get upset when the racers speak their minds. All I saw in this was that JT has the wrong mentality. "It was an honour to race against Valentino"?? He's never going to beat him with that attitude. He's got to believe he's the best if he going to win.
As for Dovi, he can complain all he wants if he keeps riding like he has been this year, and on sunday. The kid is awesome, pulled some great overtakes and is so entertaining. JT was awesome as well, and really impressed me in that race. But like I said, there's no gain from idolising any opponend when you are trying to beat him all year long.

Corser completes BMW 'dream team'.

Both guys just happen to be tall and lanky too... coincidence? Corser sets it up and Xaus knocks it down
. Nah just kidding, but I can't think of Xaus now without thinking of that video where he starts roughing up another rider after a crash. In my personal book of great universal truths he's about level with Biaggi on the good guy scale.

Guintoli completes WSBK test.

Again I reiterate the need for a summary of all this silly season info! But yeah agree with pretty much everyone here, Guinters kanes the booty. Sachsenring was awesome, and last year on that cruddy Yam, he was leading in France for quite a while, looking really "soliiid!" Soo many good riders, so few weekends...

Haslam to WSBK with Stiggy Honda?
1 agrees.
1 disagrees.
Is there a site that has all these riders and teams and signings summarised? I am sooo confused. I only have the slightest clue about the top teams. The rest is a big blurrrrrrrr
. Mostly I'd like to find out what the hell is happeing to Pitt and Brooksey? They are both killing it in WSS (along with Rea as well) and would be a damn good investment for any WSBK team.

Meetings in Japan.

Agreed that 450/500cc 2's would have been better for costs and manufacturer support, but I think that the 600cc has potential. If each team only have to design a chassis, set the electronics and choose the tyres then it (theoretically) should be cheap to run a competitive team. I gather this is Dorna's idea. Like everyone I really want it to work out but I wouldn't lay my money down.

Rossi ready for Motegi 'match point'.

Good for Rossi, but I think I'll just get some sleep for these next races and watch the highlights. Wake me up for the next WSBK race.

Rossi's 69th makes Indy, MotoGP history.
1 agrees.
You guys are idiots if you think I only give a cr@p about Stoner. If you must know my favourite riders are, in order: Bayliss Doohan Stoner Rossi Lorenzo Vermeleulen Pretty impartial to the rest, only really dislike Barbera, Simoncelli, Randy dePuniet and Checa because they are dangerous riders.

Bayliss: Either win... or crash trying.
8 agree.
1 disagrees.
There had to be someone that usually inhabits the Rossi forum on the MotoGP part of this site that decided to extend his sense of personal inadequacy to Bayliss simply because he is Australian. Obviously doesn't appreciate fantastic fairing-to-fairing racing. I think Bayliss made the right choice, for us at least. Hopfully he will win the title with a race win!

Haga wins as error forces Bayliss to wait.
1 agrees.
2 disagree.
I thought Biaggi hit Haga? And wouldn't Biaggi have had to come from behind if he was to hit his front brake lever on another rider? I'm only going off what the commentators were saying cos I couldn't see it that well.

Official: Max Biaggi to Aprilia.
2 disagree.
I hope Biaggi is still alive after that mega crash at Vallelunga. I really hope he does well. He's one of the biggest names on the grid and one of the best to watch race. He's had such a shkitty year this year. A couple of crashed not his fault at all, a couple that were, injuries... Can't wait for 2009
