Wow, people really get upset when the racers speak their minds. All I saw in this was that JT has the wrong mentality. "It was an honour to race against Valentino"?? He's never going to beat him with that attitude. He's got to believe he's the best if he going to win.
As for Dovi, he can complain all he wants if he keeps riding like he has been this year, and on sunday. The kid is awesome, pulled some great overtakes and is so entertaining. JT was awesome as well, and really impressed me in that race. But like I said, there's no gain from idolising any opponend when you are trying to beat him all year long.

Rossi's 69th makes Indy, MotoGP history.
1 disagrees.
waz have you seen the Ben Spies press conference (youtube it) from the indy tests back in july or whenever? He says at one point that there is much less to do when riding a motogp mike but you have to trust it a lot more. Also says that once you get to the top 5 riders 'there is a lot of bike' involved. Interpret that how you will but whatever applies to Stoner also applies to Rossi and vice versa.

Spies delivers final MotoGP evidence.
2 disagree.
@Footari and Timbo, The Crash crowd don't think anyone is anywhere near as good as Rossi so nobody should get paid. They think that Spies should say funny things and paint his bike in cool patterns every race otherwise he is a crud racer. I think the rest of the riders are certainly underpaid. I also think Spies knows very well what he is doing and is planning for his future even though I don't understand his motives. And my last thought on the subject is that in 2 years time when he challenges for the title there will be jealous ****s on here saying that he is a moaner or he is boring or crap or has the best ride or the best electronics... so he won't be 'truly' good.

Wow. If I was a CS fan (and I am) I would still be a CS fan because he was in the top 4
@RXracer, Lucky for there are a few large oceans and some good old anonymity between me and some of the nutjobs on here! Are these guys from the middle east by any chance? Not had enough conflict yet?

Didn''t see that one coming
Has anyone else known about this? I thought Nicky loved HRC, after all he won his championship with them? I''m confused.

Saran, I am pointing out that Doohan and Stoner are great riders because you keep trying to assert that they aren't. As an alternative, hypothetical example: Saran Dijkjnlkasdn: 'Hailwood wasn't as good as Ago because he didn't win as many championships' Me: 'Moot point, go watch Sesame Street'

Well there is limited space here and 89 was Doohan's rookie year. That's like saying Lorenzo is not good because he's only won a single grand prix this year on factory machinery. My original point was that neither Doohan nor Rainey were clearly better than the other one. Saran, I haven't disagreed with any of your comments, and I can't agree with my own
Maybe you are the only person that thinks you look stupid?
