F1 » Dennis hints at need for 'balance' in Hamilton contract talks

If McLaren and Hamilton agree that a pay cut will allow Lewis more flexibility regarding sponsorship, then a pay cut is reasonable... however, if McLaren intends to low-ball Lewis because they don't want to pay him, in general, then that's about as a dumb a thing that the team can do. This team must be worth ten of billions of dollars, so one cannot tell me that they cannot afford to pay him.

F1 » Vettel steals Belgian GP pole

Great quali session, should be a great race tomorrow. Great job by Senna... Oh Nick, I think Eric Bollier knows what he's doing. As for Hammy and Maldonado, there's nothing wrong with making a jerking motion with your car...people do it on roads everyday. But Maldonado did eventually cut Lewis off, just look at how close Lewis is to the track edge when they do make contact. Lewis shouldn't have provoked Maldonado, but running into someone deliberately is uncalled for.

F1 » Heidfeld set to fight Renault exit

I knew Nick's job would be on the line after that clash with Buemi at the Euro GP. I think Heidfeld has maybe half the points Renault was expecting a driver with his experience to have at this point of the season. Kubica would at last be battling with the Mercedes' drivers if he was healthy. Personally, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere I'm not wanted. Take your final check, Nick... which I'm sure isn't comprised of peanuts, and start looking for your next gig.

F1 » Barrichello: We just need to improve the damn car!

I understand Rubens' frustration, but he cannot continue exposing his greivances with the team so publicly. I think he may be so vocal because he knows he may be replaced at Williams next year. Trying to keep a "happy face" is difficult when circumstances aren't at their best, but it is a necessity when working in a team/ group environment. Whenone bird continues to chirp off-key, the rest will get tired of hearing it : )

F1 » Barrichello Williams seat under threat from FIF1 duo

Unless Mallya isn't planning on resigning, I don't see why Sutil would even go to Williams at this point. I was surprised Hulkenburg wasn't offered a full-time seat by any team this year, he definitely would've outperformed Maldanado. I think Nico would've challenged Rubens much more than Pastor... giving Rubens even more to complain about. I bet Rubens will be wishing he whined less than he did once the season is over.

F1 » Buemi penalised for Heidfeld clash

@ sodesu, Hey bud, their front tires did touch right around the 50m mark because Buemi is beginning to apply the brakes, while Heidfeld is losing his mind : ) Pause the view of the crash around 75m from that turn and you'll see that Heidfeld should've started slowing down around the 100m mark. Heidfeld could've avoided the collision altogether, but he's probably under pressure from Renault for results... hence the dumb move : )

F1 » Buemi penalised for Heidfeld clash

Unfair penalty if you ask me. There was no way Heidfeld was going to get around Buemi, so he should've backed off. Buemi doesn't have to give him space in that situation... he's in front. Comparing this situation to Button and Hamilton in Canada isn't kosher, because it was raining and Button's mirror vision was limited due to the rooster-tail of water from the back of his car... but I believe Buemi, like Button, shouldn't have gotten a penalty. If you stick your nose somewhere it shouldn't be, then you must suffer the consequences. What was Heidfeld trying to do there anyway? If
