F1 » Ferrari slams Williams test block.

It's very easy for Ferrari to turn around now and say "We would've let Jaime test the STR". The point is that there is an in-season testing BAN. As many other posters on here have said, Ferrari and Schumacher are not daft, and would obviously use any "refresher training" for Micheal to add a couple of development bits to the car. As would any other team given the dispensation. After his F2007 test, he clearly still has what it takes. Now he's working on fitness. Personally I can't wait to see just how fast he is compared to Kimi. I hope the Williams are faster though after these childish comments from Ferrari. "It's not fair!"

F1 » Rain threat adds to Malaysian mix.

Has everyone forgotten Barrichello's fantastic drive last year in the wet at Silverstone, with Brawn's tactical genius at play? Totally agree with you RB, it was a tradition for me to get up in the early hours for the first couple of races. The true fans, as you say, would be up and at 'em anyway. You could clearly see in some of the in-car shots from Melbourne that the sunlight through the trees was a horrible distraction when trying to find braking points.

F1 » Transcript of Hamilton-McLaren radio communication

Here's a piece from the stewrads decision itself: "During the hearing, held approximately one hour after the end of the race, the Stewards and the Race Director questioned Lewis Hamilton and his Team Manager David Ryan specifically about whether there had been an instruction given to Hamilton to allow Trulli to overtake. Both the driver and the Team Manager stated that no such instruction had been given. The Race Director specifically asked Hamilton whether he had consciously allowed Trulli to overtake. Hamilton insisted that he had not done so." Still think there was no conscious effort to let Jarno pass by Lewis?

F1 » Lewis Hamilton disqualified from Australian GP

Alan D Some of us are certainly not crowing with delight at the Hamilton penalty, but McLaren have tried to gain something from an event that THEY themselves had instigated by telling Lewis one thing, and calling foul to the stewards the next when they realised they didn't need to let Trulli back passed. Personally I like watching Hamilton, he drove a good race, (and have been a fan of McLaren since the Senna/Prost era) but there is a line that has been crossed by the TEAM and they have been penalised for it.
