WSBK » Matt Roberts joins Eurosport WSBK, BSB coverage

Don't be having a dig at ol' Mills and Burnicle. I love the way he waxes lyrical about riders. "The blue eyed electrician from Leicester" Brings a flair and imagination to the commentary. As for Tony Carter, he wasn't that bad and certainly managed to get Biaggi to speak when he obviously didn't want to. It did come across that he wasn't that well liked by the other presenters, certainly not from what I remember when I saw Whit and Foggy do their on stage routine. As a presenter and not a commentator I think Matt Roberts will do well, experience and knowledge isn't as important in that role. Pretty sure Des Lynam never played professional football but always did a bang up job on Match of the Day.

MotoGP » Valencia marks end of MotoGP on British Eurosport

End of an era! Toby, Julian, Randy and Spalders have been excellent throughout my time watching this amazing sport. They show genuine enthusiasm and excitement just like normal fans and I find that infectious and much better than the sterile dullness of the BBC duo. Very interested to see who BT Sport get to do the presenting and commentary. I'm rooting for Hodgson and his medal.

MotoGP » Moto2: Injured Redding not giving up title hopes

Scott buckling under the pressure??? What complete and utter drivel!! He's riding with a distinct weight disadvantage, riding weeks after having his arm cut open and operated on. As for Rossi buckling under pressure and that being the cause of his crash at Mugello in '10, he slowed down because he was getting followed, probably by Barbera and was fed up of giving less talented riders "a tow" so backed off the speed to let his shadow past and then opened the throttle again. With the Bridgestones having such a ludicrously narrow operating temperature window they weren't up to the maximum heat and the cold tyre syndrome bit him. Nothing to do with "buckling under pressure"

MotoGP » Redding officially confirmed at Gresini Honda

I don't know where all the celebrating the demise of CRT has come from. They're going nowhere, they're just being renamed. Aspar and Paul Bird will both be running essentially the same bikes next year as they are this year. They'll be CRT in everything but name. As for Scott, fantastic news!! The lad deserves to be in the top class and on machinery he can show his skills on.

WSBK » Sykes: I wasn’t prepared to gamble

And how many idiots on here would be getting their pitchforks out and lambasting him if he had tried for the win and crashed. maybe even injuring himself in the process and ruling himself out for the next 2 or 3 races? After last year he knows more than anyone how precious points are even when finishing lower down the order, certainly better than a DNF and zero points.
