WSBK » Fabrizio: My fault, I need to stay calmer

Maybe he'll learn from this mistake as it will have undoubtably made him highly unpopular in the paddock with just about everyone, probably even his team mate. I would imagine Nori would like to win because of hiw own skill as a rider and not because of the misfortune of his nearest rival. Pedrosa made the same mistake, if not worse, when he catapulted Hayden in 06. He was just fortunate it didn't affect the title outcome in the end. Regarding fighting for the title, a few more DNF's from Spies, which he has done more than once this season and Nori not getting back to full fitness could well mean Fabrizio really fighting for it if his results stay consistent.

MotoGP » PICTURES: Prince Harry rides MotoGP two-seater!

So, Prince Harry was there at the race. Then why oh why wasn't he presenting the trophies? Sorry to sound jingoistic, but it was the British GP and we had a Spanish bloke presenting the winning riders their trophies. Is interest in the sport in this country so poor that we can't even have a Brit presenting the winning trophies. We don't get the French Prime Minister handing out the Wimbledon trophies, so why should we suffer the embarrassment of a foreigner presenting the trophies at our own GP.

MotoGP » Lorenzo 'definitely ready' for Donington battle.

The Puig thing is a very good point. The way he managed to get Hayden treated was dispicable. I can't imagine Lorenzo getting into that situation without assurances from Honda that there'll be no interference from Puig if Pedrosa does stay. Same thing goes for Rossi if Dani becomes his team mate. Puig will have met his match if he tries to lock horns with Rossi, plus, imagine how unpopular it would make Dani if his manager somehow did manage to get better treatment for him than Rossi. I hope Jorge has thought this through properly. If he's letting his wallet rule his head he may well regret it. How good is he at developing a MotoGP bike?

MotoGP » Where might Melandri, Toseland have finished?

All this talk of "this rider needs to go" I thought one of the main complaints about MotoGP was the lack of riders. As someone else stated earlier, if only those riders capable of contesting the title are allowed to race, we'd have a 4 rider grid. JT certainly has the skills to race around the top 5 or 6 when he's on form. More riders should hopefully make for a much better spectacle. I'd suggest there isn't a championship out there that has more than 3 or 4 people capable of actually winning that respective title. Taking that line of thinking to its logical conclusion would mean the Premiership would have 4 teams and the Scottish Premiership consisting of Rangers and Celtic. How exciting!

MotoGP » Rossi backs Monday MotoGP re-run.

I'm gonna have to go through the same again on Monday now and it could still rain again after all the build up and anticipation. Wonder what the lighting bill will be for an unscheduled nights racing, then compare that to what they've saved by shortening the practise times. As for the BBC, they're just a really bad joke now. Pathetic is too kind a word to describe their coverage and so called new found commitment.

MotoGP » BBC responds to MotoGP fans.

The viewing figures each channel recieved aren't the issue here. It's the alledged appreciation of the commentary teams that's puzzling. Even if we accept that the views on here are obviously slightly biased towards the Eurosport team it's pretty evident the BBC team are not appreciated or liked by many more than the BBC are willing to admit.
