F1 » Button laments 'worst year' at McLaren

"unlike big mouth who doesn't keep his mouth shut" posted by Button Basher. Now we know he doesn't watch F1 as he has got the two McLaren mixed up, everyone knows that Hamilton is the one inside McLaren that can't keep his mouth shut. Button doesn't bash the team for his own mistakes. @Button Basher you are a class A troll. @LewisMerc you can answer that one yourself. In 2007 if Hamilton wasn't comfortable on those tires he could have pitted himself and no one made him beach the car on the entry to pit lane and no one made him fluff the start in Brasil then run off track, it was his own doing those three incidents.

@LewisMerc Are you kidding, Hamilton had the championship lost, it was only because Glock had the wrong tires on. have you ever thought that maybe Massa (as it is hard to believe now) was actually the better of the two that season but lost the championship due to Ferrari's mistakes. @ButtonBasher the only reason I'm getting so many disagree's is and you're not is because most people that have come onto this thread don't like Button. It's a fact, as soon as a Button story is up, that sounds negative all the Hamilton fans come on here and bash the guy to death and trounce on anyone that defends the guy or actually has something objective to say about him.

MOTOGP » Valentino Rossi: 'It will be a strange weekend'

I still believe as many top insiders of Motorcycle racing believe that Stoner could ride around the problem because when he jumped on the Ducati he was 22 & only had 1 previous season in MotoGP on a Honda which was a 990cc. So he didn't have many years of experience to build a style around a certain bike. Then take Rossi. Prior to his first ride on the Ducati he had 11 seasons on bikes that had perfect front end feel and developed his style around that. Which for a guy of his age would have been difficult to learn anything different. Also you must take into account that when Stoner was at his height of the Ducati powers he had specially made tires which would have also masked problems but Rossi didn't have that luxury on the Ducati. I'm not taking anything away from Stoner, I'm saying there could be more to read into why Rossi failed!

@Button Basher as richard rightly pointed out someone with "basher" will not be objective and I can't understand why so many people would agree with you, if they do. In 2008 Hamilton had the best car and he still nearly lost the championship, he went into the last round "defending" so how can you call him a true champion? Button didn't have the car to attack for most of the season, anyway he still fought for every position he could get, remember Interlagos. @belowfreezingIQ remember the spanish GP where Rubens was hijaked of his win and threatened to quit because JB was getting preferential treatment ? Go get the 2009 season review. Barichello was on a 3 stop so he should have been faster than Button but he wasn't. So they changed Button to a 2 stop so he wasn't held up, go look at the facts first!

I can't believe the clowns on Button threads at times! @Button Basher you have no idea about Formula 1 do you? Button had the fastest car for the first 7 races in 2009. Then he had to defend for the rest of the season because the RBR, McLaren & Ferrari all caught up. He still managed to beat his team mate in the same car. You clearly show your ridiculous mind set and lack of knowledge not just for F1 but Motorsport in general. no one flukes a championship, a championship is made up of 15-20 races. I assume everyone bashing Button are Hamilton fans and if you are making Button sound so bad then you are dragging down Hamilton as Button beat Hamilton last year by 43 points.

WSBK » Chaz Davies makes BMW debut

Chaz is a great rider and I think he is one of the best all round rider we've seen for a while. He's won many races in Britain (125cc against Casey Stoner) over seas in the US and of course on the world stage. He has surprised me this year and I think he can learn a lot from Marco Melandri this year and be very competitive.

As a huge Jenson Button fan I must admit that throughout most of this year that Hamilton has done a better job than him. He has been having the season that Hamilton had last year with not so good results. I believe next year if McLaren can fix the reliability and keep the speed in the car that it could be Button's year. I don't think Perez will be as strong as him next year & Button still has a couple of good years in him. Let's hope next year is as good as this year entertainment wise!

F1 » HAVE YOUR SAY: Who sparkled in Abu Dhabi?

R.I.P. DRS Board it didn't stand a chance! Kimi Raikkonen for his great start & brilliant drive & his fantastic radio messages. Of course Vettel for coming through the field & also di Resta for coming ninth after he came from the back of the field. I would also give Kobayashi a shout, he was quiet but stealthy!
