MotoGP » Rossi ‘recovery’: Final 10% was the hardest

I was one of many that though that his career was over after 2012 and that he wasn't going to win another race after Aseen 2013. Then 2014 came along and he changed his style and was up front again then there was hope for race wins and then this year he's so far gone a step better. I am very happy that I have had to eat my words, fingers crossed that he goes on to win the championship this year.

MotoGP » Sam Lowes linked to MotoGP with Aprilia

Sam should think very carefully about this, I don't want his talent being locked away on a terrible package just like his twin brother in WSBK on that outdated Suzuki. On Alex quickly I feel really sorry for him, he is outclassing a former MotoGP rider on that terrible bike when he should be on that Aprillia or even better the Kawasaki. Back to Sam, maybe another season in Moto2 to try and take the championship would be wiser but I know that next years Aprillia will be completely different and should be more competitive so it's a tough one.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: It’s like tennis…

As Mat Oxley stated in his blog today, tyres could decide the outcome of this years championship and I believe with the edge grip tyres then it will swing in favour of Lorenzo over Rossi. I see many races with that tyre Lorenzo running off into the distance, I could be wrong but I see it happening. I think to stop that from happening Rossi is going to have to dig VERY deep to beat him.

F1 » ‘Traditional’ Vettel against Saturday race proposals

I believe there should be a race on Saturday to determine the grid for Sunday. It would bring in a bigger TV audience and it would give more to the fans at the track. The way the grid should work for the Saturday race combine all the FP times and that will determine the grid and that means practice means a little more than setting your car up and it could possible stop drivers staying in the pits for ages. This means the paying customer gets to see more cars on the track. Give them a 15-20 laps sprint, tires that'll last most of the distance and enough fuel so they don't have to save it and let them loose.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: I regret not trying a shorter bike

VKal: one of the best overtakes on the first lap. But doing 1.22 when the other 3 were doing 1.21 is not going to cut it, mate. JL is so glued to doing race sims on FP with some good repeatable 1.22 laps but come race days the others beat you by doing 1.21. what's the point of all the prep and a great start? You have to rethink about your team strategy and it should include not being to tyre dependant to a particular tyre. What happen in Assen and this... the the tyre maker brought tyres of not your preference. I think the normal tyre for 2015 should be constant and odd tyres like Asym should be an add on rather removing some tyre choice which removes the advantage of some. Best rider in this race: Dani Pedrosa. this guys was doing 1.21 laps, even towards the end.
People that want the 2015 tires should use them and people that prefer the 2014 should use them.

BSB » BSB prepares for one-off grid shake-up at Brands Hatch

GuzziHero: No no no! Reverse grids used to be called 'Havoc' grids for a reason. This could potentially lead a rider to ride well beyond their limits to get into a useful championship points position. Different sport I know, bit remember Dan Wheldon's fatal crash. We don't want something like that to happen in BSB. RIP Dan Wheldon.
I was going to mention that before I saw your post, that was a horrible crash and I don't want a rider getting injured coming from the back just for some money.
