MotoGP » Moto3: Shock Loi victory after tyre change chaos, Kent 21st

What a race, so happy for the top 3 riders as it's their first Grand Prix podium. Even happier for McPhee as he's a fellow Scotsman and i raced against him in Minimotos a long time ago and occasionally beat him, feels weird to think I've raced and rarely beat a Grand Prix podium winner. Anyway well done Livio, Phillip and especially John, lets hope this gives all 3 a much needed boost for the rest of the year.

Could have so easily have been 1 point between Rossi and Lorenzo. Good damage limitation ride by Rossi to get 10 out of 10 podiums this year but to stop Marquez and especially Lorenzo (who worryingly will have his special medium edge grip rear tyre for the rest of the season) he'll need to step it up a gear. Come on Valentino get a couple of more wins, get more podiums and go get that 10th championship!

Crazy session, can't believe so many people crashed. I'm certain Rossi crashed on whatever was coming from Pedrosa's bike which then made him crash. On race pace Lorenzo looks like he's got it covered once again but I think he was using the medium tires for most of the session and only the hards for the final stint, Rossi I'm not sure, I believe he used that hards the entire session but not sure if it was the same tyre. Marquez who knows what he was trying, we never really know. I hope that Lorenzo doesn't run away with it with the edge grip tires and I hope that this championship isn't decided on tires and runaway wins, I'd rather see the top three battle it out on track and the best rider wins.

MotoGP » Rossi: We knew we had to suffer

Great damage limitation by Rossi but with Marquez back on song and Lorenzo's favoured edge grip tyres returning Rossi must step it up a gear to make sure that he gets his 10th title. Let's hope that Indianapolis was his boggey track for the year and he will be stronger for the remaining last eight races. Come on Valentino you can do it, go get that 10th title!

I thought after FP4 Rossi had improved but it didn't seem to be as his qualifying was poor. I hope at least this is his boggey race for the year and that this form doesn't continue and he can recapture his Aseen form. Tomorrow is Sunday, fingers crossed he can find a step tomorrow in set up and at least get on the podium because I believe Marquez and Lorenzo will be gone in the opening first laps. Go Vale!
