MotoGP » Rossi: Title charge is on

Yesterday was a great ride by Rossi. The Honda's were too strong both Pedrosa and Marquez have both won the last 6 races there so not much he could have done to beat them. The positive was that he beat Lorenzo but needs to keep beating him for the second half of the season and of course Marquez too, he is still well and truly in this title fight. The worrying thing is if Marquez goes on a 2014 like winning streak and when Bridgestone bring back the 2015 Bridgestone tires then Rossi will need to sharpen his tools to fight with Lorenzo as he prefers those tires. I hope he can take this title as he's lead it all season so far and arguably cement the GOAT name.

F1 » FIA approves expanded F1 schedule

here4thesun2: I like the every other week sequence. Much more would really allow you to forgive yourself for missing a race and that could be habit forming - a la Nascar. Germany is back on the schedule. Can they build the old circuit back into Hockenheim by then? (don't care if it's nurburging, build the loop and change the schedule). No need to scrap the new circuit, they can still be used for regional racing. I like some of the geographic swings - North America is a good one. Although, Abu Dhabi seems out of place. They almost have a continental (regional) sub-series in-place. I am sure the reason is logistical, but they should throw some prize money at winning a leg.
I'd love to see them build the old track back into Hockenheim BUT it'll never happen!

BSB » BSB prepares for one-off grid shake-up at Brands Hatch

GuzziHero: No no no! Reverse grids used to be called 'Havoc' grids for a reason. This could potentially lead a rider to ride well beyond their limits to get into a useful championship points position. Different sport I know, bit remember Dan Wheldon's fatal crash. We don't want something like that to happen in BSB. RIP Dan Wheldon.
I was going to mention that before I saw your post, that was a horrible crash and I don't want a rider getting injured coming from the back just for some money.

MotoGP » MotoGP Germany - Warm-up Results

Realist: Still doing the prediction/doubt Rossi thing eh Liam? You just can't help yourself huh? :)
Im having a wild guess, I didn't see warm up, I'm basing my assumption on when the riders set their fastest lap from what I read on Twitter. It's not like Rossi to go faster at the start of the session and everyone going faster at the end.

MotoGP » Rossi: I will try to fight with Jorge

I do hope Rossi gets a good start and ateast slots into fourth coming out of the first corner. I do have a horrible feeling that Lorenzo will get the wholeshot and and try and pull away until his tires go off. All Rossi needs to do is beat Lorenzo, I'd love a win but Lorenzo is the main target, all the best tomorrow Valentinogive yourself and us a great result!
