MotoGP » Rossi 'quite worried' by wet pace at Sepang

Tetley: Rossi 3.5 seconds off the pace ? He's obviously not trying. But why ? He's not the sort to be scared by a bit of damp. The bike's settings haven't suddenly deteriorated so far from optimum. I think the likelyhood is that he's evaluating something, testing something, trying something out, running something in, calibrating something, or even just avoiding stressing a component nearing the end of its service life. All this is information which he would not want to be giving to team outsiders, so rather than show his hand it might just be a ploy to keep them off the scent. He's a crafty old dog who can always (usually ?) pull something out of the bag for final qually so i very much doubt that his grid position will reflect this practice session
Or as he states he isn't happy with the set up in the wet and the dry is ok, there was chatter, hopefully this can all be solved, I don't want to see Rossi roll over and just give Lorenzo second in the champions

MotoGP » Lorenzo: I’d like to be competitive again

I'm a Rossi fan but I will slightly defend Lorenzo, he has said this year he hasn't been that good because of his fitness and after Misano he did admit that Rossi was faster than him. However, in Phillip Island even without the tyre issues Rossi was much faster, catching him before the issues and climbing all over his back wheel before the tyre issues struck. I have a feeling Lorenzo may still beat Rossi this year but saying that Rossi may show even more fire and determination during these last two races!
