Remember the movie Grand Prix, starring James Garner? Maybe 10 F1 cars and F2''s filling out the field. F1 was great in ''60''s, and the didn''t meed a plethora of cars then, we don''t need more than 10-12 cars to have a decent show. The hopeless cars seem kind of sad in a way.

Raikkonen admits he lost 'interest' in F1.
If tyres are %90 of an F1 cars performance and they were designed with Massa in mind: re M. Schumacher? I would be psyched out a bit, too. esp if I am supposed to be the #1 driver!

China win gives Lewis one hand on crown.
1 agrees.
Kudos to the young champion in waiting! I wish that the FIA would not allow any wings, as that would help make the spectacle more competitive.

Corrupt or not, NOTHING can take away the stunning beauty and sheer spectacle of these machines!

Japanese GP - Race result [amended].
1 disagrees.
When Schumi came to a stop at Monaco in the last minute of qualifying, they should have left him alone. They ended up ruining what could have been a v. entertaining race, especially after Webber and Kimi R dropped out...in English common law, we say you are innocent until proven guilty: I imagine the Napoleanic code, in use in Monaco, is the same. This should apply in F1, esp including today's race...I wish B. Ecclestone et al would read this stuff...

'Slow grower' Massa would merit F1 crown.
1 disagrees.
I wonder what it would be like if Lewis hadn''t rammed Raikonnen out of the race in Montreal? Was the Finn hurt enough to impede his driving for the rest of the season?

Canada loses Formula One slot.
I live in Canada and went to the race in 1994. The sound was incredible, but I would never blow that kind of money on a GP again. Too bad A. Senna had died earlier because when I got home to finally see some of the race, it had been preceded by a 2 hour Senna obituary....I have heard that all the big wigs go back to their hotel rooms to watch on TV: this sport is v. amenable to TV: impossible to follow in person. And at least I can''t be insulted by the prescence of guys selling 50 cent T-shirts for $100!

Force India: Points still possible this year.
It takes money spent well to place in F1 and Force India doesn''t come up to snuff. Rain may be the great equalizer, witness one A Senna in a TolemanHart catching Prost furiously at that Monte Carlo GP, but Force India doesn''t have a Senna. Carpe Diem, Force India!

Raikkonen admits: I need a miracle.
1 agrees.
Kimi's miracle would be to go back in time to the street? circuit in Montreal and have that overexcited goof not ram him out of a sure 10 points. Where was the "FerrariIA" on that call? At least Senna told the truth when he rammed Prost at Suzuka. I wish these guys didn't have to be so politically correct that they can't tell the truth, or are starting to beleive the lies they tell.
