MotoGP » Interwetten 'expect much more' from Aoyama at home

"That compares with a best race finish of 2nd (Ben Spies) etc.. etc..." No pressure there, lol. Seriously with all due respect to Aoyama and everything, holding the expectation that Aoyama (or any of the other rookies for that matter) can just bust out and replicate a "Spies" like performance isn't something I would put under the realistic column. Spies is closer to "Alien like" performance than the rest of the rookies are to replicating "Spies" like performance. If one were to ask "Ok then, what is a realistic expectation then?" I would say to beat the other rookies squarely (e.g. simoncelli, barbera, bautista, one or both of the pramac bikes etc..) A stretch achievement imho would be to to all that and beat edwards/dePuniet. Just my $0.02

MotoGP » 16-year-old Elena Myers to ride Suzuki MotoGP bike

And I Quoth... “We saw that she was doing quite well over here on her Suzuki,” said Tim Walpole, Rizla Suzuki MotoGP Press and PR Officer. “So we thought she might like to come by the box and get to meet the guys and have a look at how we do things.” Just Like you saw Spies was doing quite well on his Suzuki huh? I swear to god, Suzuki could write a How-To Manual titled "Bad Management Decisions & Living With The Consequences" Rock On Elena!, if everything goes to plan, you'd kick ass at the Valencia test and Tech3 will offer you a full time ride for 2011. Fingers Crossed!
