For once Raw I completely agree with you. Hugely over hyped by the press, mainly due to the Rossi Gibbers thing.

What is Rossi going to say? 'mmm. Thinking back it was a little harsh of me to pass him, I think I'd let Jorge win.' Top class riders should be able to handle a bit of close quarters racing.

Lets not forget that every MotoGP rider thinks they have what it takes & that they are the bees knees. Looking at it from that point of view, you would be a bit peeved if your team mate has different stuff to you, even if it's something like a different shaped brake lever. You would also think that you deserved the same money as someone that you have beaten on track from time to time, never mind the titles you can whoop his ass. I don't think any of you would be any different if you were in thier shoes.

If Lorenzo wants to see the top step again he needs to change his pessimistic attitude and take the 'it aint over til the fat lady sings' approch. He needs to be pushing it all the time or he'll have no chance.

I once asked Kev, (That's what he lets me call him) if he wanted to have a go on my CG 125 on the field behind my house in Yorkshire. Unfortunatly it was 1992 and he was under contract with Suzuki. Shame, I could really tell he wanted a go. :)

Schwantz is a legend!!! He's been asked the questions and he's giving his opinion based on his own experiences. He's been around the Moto GP paddock for ever so is as qualified as anyone to make these comments on his observations. Sounds bang on to me.

Aspar could be exactly who Ducati need, the man obviously knows a thing or two about setting a bike up, just look at the sucesses in the lower classes. Barbera may seem a strange choice but he could go and suprise us by acually being able to ride the duke!! Anything could happen which is why we love the sport.

It's not unlikely that Ducati will pay Lorenzo what he wants to come to them, they think they have a great bike, Stoner can win on it, so why not anyone else? They think they just need the right rider. They seem to be changing a bit this season but still miles off Yamaha who use loads of input from the rider. That will leave the factory seat to??? It's got to be one of the exsisting riders but which one? There's not many that are free, Vermulen is free & so is Elias. Hayden is an intresting thought but didn't he have a 2 year deal? If Spies wins Superbike then there's a chance that Edwards or Toseland will move up to make room at Tech3. Cant people just make their minds up!!!

Diesel engines! That's what we need, one engine could last a full season and there wouldn't be any fuel issues. My BMW diesel has done 140,000 miles and it still as responsive as ever and still does 45-50mpg. I'm telling you, DIESEL IS THE FUTURE!!! Next season is sponsered by John Deer! :D

Just keep the pressure on him Bradders, you can still get this one. You're obviously in good shape and it's a long time to Valencia.

I can't see how the rookie rule is a bad thing. Lets use Ben Spies as an example. If Yamaha wanted him and he could only ride for Tech3 they would have a factory spec bike in that garage faster than Stoner can make up an excuse! They would probably pay his wages too. Looking at the stats the satelite teams need this to keep in it.
