For once Raw I completely agree with you. Hugely over hyped by the press, mainly due to the Rossi Gibbers thing.

What is Rossi going to say? 'mmm. Thinking back it was a little harsh of me to pass him, I think I'd let Jorge win.' Top class riders should be able to handle a bit of close quarters racing.

I think I'm going to enter Moto GP next year on a C90, with the size of the field I'm almost guarenteed some points!!! The future certainly isn't looking bright for the championship. Rossi only has 2 years left on his contract then he'll be off looking for his new challenge, probably WRC by the sounds of it. Love hom or loathe him he is keeping things alive at Moto GP & without him it will be very different. That means Dorna have only 24mths to sort things out & make a chapionship that can rival WSBK for excitment, after all that's why we all watch it. Losing Eurosport coverage is another nail in the coffin, the BBC coverage is terrible. Bye Bye Moto GP. Hello WSBK the new king!

I remember the artical, not sure if it was on here but definatly on motogp.com. He gave his fans the choice of 87, 99, 23, or staying with 48. Looks like they chose 99. I hope McWilliams doesn't mind! LOL

Two strokes are dying, it's a shame but it's a fact we have to face up to. I'm going to keep the legacy alive with a 1998 Yamaha V4 engined chain saw!! With regards to buying engines from other teams for 20k. Really, how many of you guys actually think that it will be common practice to buy engines from each other!!?? The rule is there so that Honda & Co don't go spending millions on engine development for someone then to but it off them for 20k. If someone could buy your car off you for 5k would you put a 3k exhaust & a 3k suspension set up on it? I dont think so.

I think Toseland does have a good chance of finishing in the top 5. Unfortunatly there are 10+ riders that could also finish in the top 5. Good luck James!!

Nicky is 5th because people, including me, think he's had a tough season & has been treated badly by Honda & Puig. He's worked really hard through it all & is always good to watch. I do agree that there's no way he'll win another championship but it would be a shame to lose him from Moto GP. I could watch him & Elias all day!

You wouldn't be thowing your money away if you put a bet on a Fiat Yamaha 1 2 next year. If that happens you watch how many teams don't have a wall in 2010! If it works & the team can concentrate on making the bike work for that rider everyone will follow their lead & bang a wall up.

I don't know why but I have an automatic dislike of Spies. I think it's something to do with him demanding stupid money with Moto GP. Just because he has won AMA for the past few years he thinks he's awesome. Big wake up call for him in 2009!

you can't blame anyone for the way that traction control has evolved. Racing is all about getting round the track as fast as possible, the technolgy is there, it's a prototype series & you'd be a fool not to take advantage of that if you can make it work. However I do think it's getting a bit out of hand now & needs regulating. Casey turns up on Friday & his bike already knows what it's doing at every part of the track! That needs to stop.
