We all knew this was coming. Maybe Renault and Alonso can pull out one last championship before the guy leaves. But what will Flav do after leaving F1? I guess he''ll just have to sit around with Elisabetta... how awful! :p

If Renault give Alonso a lackluster car again this season and he leaves as a result, I won't be surprised if they eventually pull out too. Carlos Ghosn isn't known as the cost cutter for no reason.

I know we all have manufacturers we would like to see join F1 (Aston, Audi, etc.). But you have to ask the question: why would any of them WANT to join F1? Audi isn't going anywhere near F1 with all of their success in Le Mans/ALMS. More importantly though, remember that Audi is owned by VW Group, which hasn't shown any interest in F1 to my knowledge. And to add to that, remember that Porsche boss that balked at the idea of joining F1? Don't forget that Porsche basically controls VW Group. Which also means no Lambo's in F1 since they're owned by Audi (Porsche > VW > Audi > Lambo). But at the end of the day the biggest problem with F1 is how it is in such disarray. Where is it going?

I hope he''ll really be able to. Maybe we can have an exciting season to compensate for all of the bad news in F1. Maybe...

Sad to see them go. But honestly, who can blame them? It's a smart decision on their part. And I agree with above that Toyota will probably be next. In fact I would bet money on it. On a side note, when was the last time we heard any GOOD news relating to F1? :p It just keeps getting worse and worse...

Hey Vijay, nobody cares! This guy's an idiot if he's spending all of this money for the sole purpose of trying to get an Indian driver into F1. Personally, I'd love for there to be an American driver in F1, but NOT just for the sake of one being there (ex:Scott Speed). Drivers should find their way into F1 by virtue of skill alone. Ideally at least...
