Also, I understand that Max has done a lot for safety. And that's great... but it's really time for someone new at the FIA.

karga, Max needs to get off of his ass and actually do something. Why isn't there more transparency in F1? Why doesn't he fix the issues w/stewards and ridiculous rulings? Why is it that Ferrari always seems to be held above all of the other teams (they don't even have to make their radio transmissions available for broadcast like everyone else!)? Why is he talking about creating some stupid "Formula 2" when GP2 already exists? If he's so serious about F1 going green then why don't the teams at least use a bio-fuel MIX (ALMS uses a cellulosic ethanol mix)? Why the HELL is he talking about a single-engine format?! Why is Bernie being allowed to consistently screw the fans over?

Also, it's no secret how close Bernie and Flavio are. From starting GP2 together, to buying that soccer club, and to admittedly talking to each other at least once a day--if I had to put money on who the next FIA president would be I'd go with Flavio. But if Max 'MORE OF ZE PUNISHMENT!' Mosley "runs" again, then we're all screwed...

At least Flavio has a ******* personality unlike that idiot Todt. And I have real trouble believing that Flavio's girl stories somehow rival Max's. I mean, let's be honest here, Max's little "escapade" was pretty pathetic considering it was so shady and secret. Flavio's married to a hot 28-year old gold digger of a model. He's a sugar-daddy and he knows it. If you have the '06 Autocourse, read his interview where he compares the success of GP2 to F1. Flavio clearly understands that the sport is also entertainment and that F1 isn't super exciting at the moment. I would MUCH rather have him head the FIA than Todt. I know nothing about Jean Todt, he's mysterious and never gives interviews

Well this is certainly surprising. I thought Gascoyne was one of the "sacred cows" of F1, along with Adrian Newey, Ross Brawn etc.

I like Heikki. But he won't be winning any championships at McLaren while Lewis is his teammate.
