DBL: Firstly, he's not new to Ducati he rode Aspar's bike for 2 seasons (2010-11) Secondly, he probably followed someone faster :)
he also sat on the front row on a satellite ducati. Did Rossi ever do that?
I'm not a Rossi fan boy but when Barbera finished 20 seconds behind Rossi at the end of the race I'd say front row meant nothing.

They should stop messing with this, we can hardly see them in the cars as it is with the protection. What I always find rude are the ones when they get out of the car at the end of the race who keep their helmets on when waving to the crowd. Take them off and stop Herbie Blash from ushering them away as quickly as possible, then the fans will see them properly.
