MotoGP » Michael van der Mark to make MotoGP debut?

Garcia: l thought Abraham had only a dislocated toe? Surely he should be fit to race?
Maybe there is more going on, what with Brno poised to lose the GP and rumoured to have been making losses. The highest attended GP making losses? Doesn't make any sense, something odd is going on. His father owns Brno and also the Cardion AB team.

MotoGP » Poncharal: Right now, I’d keep Smith and Espargaro

Hogboy: Smith seems like a nice, thoughtful rider but I rarely see killer instinct. In many cases he gets a dynamite start and then slowly and very politely works his way down the field.
That's because he's a great starter and has got himself in front of faster factory spec bikes. He can't do much about factory Yamaha, Honda and Ducati power, although if you watched the last race he overtook Pedrosa more than once, his team mate and Aleix Esp. So if he made normal starts and finished where he does now, behind only the top factory bikes you wouldn't notice it.

MotoGP » Petrucci: The best race this year

He is a seriously good find, when he first arrived to ride the very slow CRT least updated Ioda & Ioda-Suter he came straight out of Superstock 1000. I was baffled as to why he had made the jump, no previous jnr GP experience, just 600 and 1000 Superstocks. But what a revelation, first year matched Colin Edwards for points and best finish of 8th! Similar performances in 13 and 14. he even got the Ioda-Suter into Q2 qualifying 11th and the 2013 German GP and 12 at the Valencian GP. And here he is riding the same spec Ducati as Barbera and Di Meglio and matching/beating team mate Hernandez on a better spec bike.

F1 » Wolff sympathetic over Williams’ tactical dilemma

Williams know Mercedes is at least a second a lap faster, I think Williams were racing Ferrari but were being pushed along faster by Mercedes messing up their tyre plans to ensure best strategy to beat Ferrari. The rain just added more trouble. If the start had been a normal start the Williams would have been running 3 & 4 in the race behind the two Mercedes (which gap them and the rest of the field) and they would have raced to their tyre wear plan and secured a podium,

MotoGP » BT Sport price rise for MotoGP viewers

Time to peruse the MotoGP broadcasters list who provide free-to-air coverage and see who can be picked up by satellite. Or who stream the coverage on their own websites via a suitable proxy. I've tried the MotoGP official team and Nick Francis is a cliche ridden *****. And neither spot anything that happens giving position changes 1-2 laps after it happened and as for their pronunciations of names, both different and often wrong, you'd think one would say to other "actually it's pronounced ......... you know"
