MotoGP » Edwards goes 'old school' with no TC

Interesting interview with Honda's Shoichiro Iramajiri in the latest Cycle World in which he says that with the current MotoGP bikes it's 60% to 70% machine and 30% rider. A few more years of technology development and I figure this senior citizen should be able to go head to head with Marquez :) I'm still saddened though by the amount of techno intervention these days and would like to see some of it backed off so the rider is a bigger part of the equation.

@ Me Perhaps you didn't notice this line " It's cool Monster Energy brought us together, it was a lot of fun." and perhaps you haven't notice that Monster Energy sponsors Yamaha in MotoGP. Obviously Yamaha would have no problem with this and I'm pretty sure that after 9 world championships, Rossi knows how to focus on the job at hand.

Oops! Some people need to step back and just enjoy the amazing talent of so many of the riders and drivers in today's motosport. BTW, yes I have raced at low level events and know a little, and I mean that literally, about car control. I have not competed on my bike but know that my limits are truly sad compared to the current crop of bike racers. Stop arguing and try discussing, it's much more satisfying.
