Damien IE, JT was behind Talmasci for the first couple of laps because he got caught up in the turn 2 mishap, along with several other riders. Once he and the others had sorted themselves out, they soon passed him.

How about this as an idea. IF Lorenzo goes to Ducati, then give JT the Fiat Yamaha seat for 1 year (see if he does better than when Colin was on it!), and then Spies can go into Tech3 to do his apprenticeship along side Colin (who will probably be in his last year...again!). Then, IF Spies is as good as what you all say he will be and proves himself he will then be able to go into the Fiat Yamaha team, if they want him to and/or if JT does badly. (JT doing badly is not a fore gone conclusion here, chances are he will perform better on the factory bike). Like I said....just a thought.

Just checked the results on Moto Gp Website, Elias has been handed a 20 second penalty taken him down to 12th. Results now stand (from 6th) as: 6th - James Toseland 7th - Randy De Puniet 8th - Nicky Hayden 9th - Loris Capirossi 10th - Alex Di Angelis 11th - Marco Melandri 12th - Toni Elias
