Should've hired Hacking for this ride. HE at least knows how to put a ZX-10R on the rostrum...

Would it be too of a crazy thought to think that Neil Hodgson could bag this ride? :?

Mighty Putty: That's true on him being down on power. He even said on Twitter between race 1 and 2, "Yea.... I just felt like I was on a 600 for 21 laps.... "

It could be very interesting though to see how Sofuoglu would cope in the 600cc (engined by Honda) Moto2 class... :) I'm pretty sure that if Ten Kate changed their minds on doing a chassis on their own for Moto2, it could be an exiting comination mixing it with Kenan.

I don't think Chaz is going anywhere. He has said before that he likes it in the US, and anyway - the season there is over for 2009, so he's 'free' to whatever he wants for the rest of the year. Aprilia USA used 2009 as a learning year for the new Factory team (Millenium) and Aprilia, and if they're planning on entering the RSV4 in the AMA next year (as they've hinted), than I suspect Chaz would be tempted to stay put. But, I might be wrong - but I don't think so... :p

As the AMA season is now over, why don't give Hodgson a try-out on the Stiggy Honda for the reminder of the season?

I agree totally. Whatever bike this kid is on, he drives the wheels off it! :) I'm hoping we'll see him in a World Championship next year, or BSB!!

Anyone wants to bet against that the replacement rider at Miller won't be Jamie Hacking?

I'm sorry Wolfy35, but you're a bit mistaken  Yes, in 2008 it was known as Yamaha Motor Italia, but the team was re-branded to Yamaha World Superbike Team on the 12th of February when they launched the '09 bike livery, "The team now fully belong to the Yamaha Motor Europe operations, and so have been renamed The Yamaha World Superbike Team" it was written in the Yamaha WSB press release. You can read all about this on the official Yamaha-Racing website.

No competition? He rode against Spies, Maldin and Hodgson last year. So, are you one of those people who still contionous to think the AMA Superbike series was a joke? And he rode that MotoGP bike pretty hard at Laguna Seca. I'm not say Easton wont be good. I seriously hope he turns some heads - we all know the kid can ride. What I'm saying is that when no one in the world were able to put the 08 in the Top 5, Hacking put it on the rostrom every so often. Don't be suprised if we see The Hacker in WSBK next year. Seen in Italy last week hanging out with is good friend Ben (Spies) :)
