MotoGP » Hofmann becomes KTM MotoGP test rider

Thats probably one of the reasons why they've hired Hofmann to be their test rider as he's experienced at it and speaks several languages so nothing should be lost in translation. KTM shouldn't be complete novices though as they've had an official involvement in Moto3 since it started and I'd have thought they will have run works teams in motorcross before so fingers crossed they can make it work.

MotoGP » PICS: Casey Stoner back on MotoGP machinery

zippychips: I dont understand why hes testing for Honda... When he was with Ducati they created a bike no one else could ride ....
I think we all understand now that Ducati haven't paid any attention to rider feedback over the last few years and are only just starting to change. Casey has to be the best test rider going because he can actually get the bike to the speeds it will be used at in a race and thats usually where problems arise. Loving the HRC coloured leathers too

MotoGP » Camier keeps Aspar seat for Silverstone

Its great news for Leon to be getting a shot in the premier class. The only shame is that we'll never be able to see what a lot of the WSBK riders could do in similar sitations because I honestly think the difference in quality isn't as far apart as people think. As for Nicky's operation. I'm sure I heard Nicky say on BT Sport that John Hopkins had the same operation several years back so I can't see this being the end of his career just yet.
