Raikkonen, McLaren deal back on track?
17 agree.
2 disagree.
Both very capable and pragmatic parties - both with a burning desire to put Ferrari back in the box. They'll find a way...

Valencia MotoGP - Friday practice times.
2 agree.
I think Stoner is going to make it three in a row. On his best lap, he was 3/10ths inside his own fastest by the 3rd split, but was then held up by Tony Elias so ended up improving less than a tenth. He was on course to beat Lorenzo by over half a second. Stoner was rountinely over 2/10ths faster than anyone else in the last sector.

Raikkonen: Sad to end my time with Ferrari like this
8 agree.
Speaking of racing mentality, if Kimi had backed off 3 races in 2005 to cruise and collect the points allowing Alonso to win, he'd have picked up the WDC. He won the prestigious Driver of the Year 2005 from the F1 journalists despite FA becoming champion. Something that has never happened. He's provided some of the most memorable drives in recent history - his epic win at Suzuka 2005 moved "RD to tears" it seems. If he only wants a winning car, I for one says yeah! Would love to see that terrifying pace back again.

Raikkonen: Sad to end my time with Ferrari like this
8 agree.
Here's an interesting bit of statistics that illustrate what Kimi's been pulling from that F60. Points tally since Hungary: JB 27 SV 37 RB 33 MW 24 LH 40 KR 38 Lewis the only one ahead but in a car that has been continuously developed. Kimi in a dog of a car which as other posters have pointed out should rightly be behind Toyota and Williams. Chris Dyer (Ferrari Chief Mechanic?) said previewing the Japanese GP this year: "We hope Kimi can continue to put the car in places it does not belong." In another piece elsewhere, even Ferrari engineers say Kimi can do things with that steering wheel's functionality that even Michael couldn't.

Pedrosa targets victory on home ground
2 agree.
Every one of the Aliens has something to prove: Stoner - coz he always does have something to prove... Rossi - coz he said after each of the last two races that he didn't want to risk the title. Nowz his chance... Lorenzo - coz he wants to prove he can beat Rossi. Besides, he too has home advantage (remember!) DP - coz it must hurt him to now give up the #3 plate (after downgrading from the #2 plate last year) coz Stoner has him beat. Coz Rossi did not include him in his VIP list earlier. Coz everybody has this faint sense now that somehow the other 3 Aliens are more alien than he is.

Trulli, Sutil Interlagos row spills over to Abu Dhabi
2 agree.
Why can't these two put a lid on it! @Neo - When Kimi hit Sutil at Monaco last year, he immediately went across to his pit garage and apologized to him publicly in front of Sutil's crew. And later on in an interview, he apologized again saying 'he recognized how much more the points meant to Force India'...so not all of them show Trulli's rather petulant behaviour.

Pedrosa: I had to let them go.

Yes, definitely a more mature, less angry/sullen Pedrosa. Even pulls the odd joke now. You could almost have a drink with him...
