F1 » Raikkonen puts Ferrari back on top at Spa.

Absolutely agree with SignorBenzini. Kimi is a very shrewd competitor. Don't forget he'd already won there 3 times - nearly 4 - and must've known the winning, not just the racing lines around very intimately. And given that twice before in that awesome year of 2005, he completely stitched up Fisi - he knew he had to get behind Fisi at the earliest. To me too, it is brilliant driving and racecraft. A good sign methinks - if he's got that hunger back.

F1 » Fisichella opens Force India account in style.

Martin I agree with you. I think well-deserved to Fisi, but Kimi got into his head. He couldn't do much about Kimi keeping his tyres warmed up and then Kimi craftily didn't use his KERS on the short run to the hairpin, but once he started up Eau Rouge, he got that last bit of warmth, hit the button and Whoosh! I think Fisi was thinking of Suzuka 2005 - when Kimi came from 17th to win the race and passed Fisi for #1. Kimi tailed him for 2-3 laps and then came the inevitable pass on Fisi. Ron Dennis was reportedly 'in tears' and everyone was talking about how shattered Fisi was. Back then, Fisi was in an even superior car - the championship-winning Renault. Cheers to the Kimster! :)

F1 » Raikkonen puts Ferrari back on top at Spa.

"I don't understand why Raikonnen pitted on the same lap as Fisichella. With 7kg more weight at the start than Fisichella, is that not enough for another lap?" SignorBenzini - Kimi said that the Ferrari's handling was strangely better with a heavier fuel load than when it started getting lighter. I guess they must've decided to keep those extra couple of laps worth of fuel for better handling.
