F1 in that guise can't do anything for the brand that they haven't already done for themselves. rock, paper, scissors. rock beats scissors and ROUNDEL beats F1. such is the equity, F1's just a button on a keyboard. now had you been able to spec straight 6's...? well you'd a been at the Hofbrauhaus with the brass tossing back a few before the sun set on the announcement. instead, NO DICE. ps: this just in, BMW says they'll consider a payment of $50 million for them to bring over the bavarian coat of arms and elevate the status of your series. how's that sound...?

re: "Wow can,t believe you lot on here susuki returning is the great news" except that ISN'T the news. the news is they are just testing. we've seen this movie. there's no guarantee they've built anything compettive...? and there's no gaurantee ezplata (like me) has any love for them...? that's 2 dealbreakers. let's just keep the cart behind the horse for now. hell, even if they DID build something that's "competitive"...? it's built competitve to an old standard. it's nothing the new "marquez standard" won't make look like it's going backwards. i4...? this thing'll be getting owned off camera by avintia and NGM kit. even if granted a berth, you won't even know they're there, just like the CPT (ie. claiming poverty teams).
