WSBK » EBR set for pre-Aragon WSBK test

re: "Just because a race fan believes racing is at least in part about racing, rather than subscribing to your sadly jaded theory that tv time for sponsors while getting lapped is as valuable as tv time for sponsors while getting on the podium, does not mean they have lost the plot." pfft, laymen. re: "I cannot imagine how someone who subscribes to your "plot" can even enjoy watching racing." well there you go, like you said... "you can't imagine". see, you knew the answer all along.

MotoGP » Kevin Schwantz, COTA reach settlement

re: "Any proof of that?" yeah, the headline of this article being broadcast the world over that says "K. Schwantz, COTA reach settlement". lol time to let go mick, as you've seen the spin of the clock invariably favours s1. this means, you can choose to be an asset to motorcycling, or you choose to be a continued hindrance like numerous others. part of the problem...? or part of the solution...? there is no option 3. decisions decisions.

F1 » What we learned at the Malaysian Grand Prix

re: "When asked by the BBC if it would be possible to crank up the volume on the V6s, however, Ecclestone was far from confident. “I don't know,” he said. “You'll have to ask the engineers. I've asked them and they've said 'no'.” listen to the engineers, they are correct. the powerplants are only 1.6 liters. this means from the door they were always going to be turning high revs with lots of overlap to spool the turbos. combine that with the fact that today's turbos, except for general size and shape are light years beyond what they were during the first turbo era. todays turbos do EXACTLY what they say on the box. compressor maps are now understood and sorted.
