WSBK » JR Racing ‘not in a good situation’

re: "When I read this team creation back then, was very happy to read about it." when s1 read about this his "spidey senses" began tingling (no it wasn't his nether regions). re: "Kept quiet but sceptical" from the beginning, s1 was both sceptical AND vocal. same as he was with Bimota before this. and just like with Bimota (and hundreds of other topics impacting bikeworld) s1 calls yet another with uncanny accuracy. love ya troy, but you and I both know motorcycling in the 21st Century is only for the passionate, only for the committed, only for the "papered up" (and even then it's tough). Q what does that mean s1...? A: it means the game does not/will not "suffer fools". outsiders have zero chance of success... ZERO...!!!

MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP test times - Saturday (Final)

re: "do any of you folks in Europe or wherever pay any attention to USA road racing? It's really gone to the dogs. Daytona is going on right now and it's a joke. The guy who qualified first (Geoff May I believe) couldn't even afford a trailer to bring his bike to the track. It's really pathetic over here." re: "No one gives a crap about road racing." Rainey does. instead of whining perhaps you should try being more supportive...? it's only the one strategy motoryclists have yet to try. ps: congrats Eslick. Josh, coming out the chicane, you had to know you were being set-up, right...? there's no such thing as being on charge on a 600 at Daytona from P2. he bagged you on a Suzuki, so there ya go.

re: "these results were achieved WITHOUT exploiting the soft rubber advantage." there's no point in trying to do anything with CRT soft or even looking for anything with the CRT soft. one of the points of creating the GP15 chassis was to have a bike that worked with those heat resistor "cannonballs". ya know, the tyres that Honda and Yamaha have set their bikes up to go race distance on.

MotoGP » Avintia’s seamless Ducati gearbox…

re: "Honda's gearbox is still regarded as the most advanced." it is. Honda I believe uses an entirely different approach than what I first thought (proprietary and a bit more complex imo). in fact, I'm going to say only them and Yammer have true seamless boxes. if Ducati's box is in the hands of Avintia...? can it really be anything more than "pseudo-seamless"...? where did Bologna get the resources to develop a technology almost overnite, what took BIG BLUE a year and half to 2 years and are still going hammer/tongs over...? it doesn't add up.
