MotoGP » Suzuki presents 2015 MotoGP racer

Q: what would be a realistic target for the opening race in Qatar at the end of this month(?) re: "Brivio replied: “I think a realistic and reasonable target is to stay in the top eight." A: no, the realistic and reasonable target is to take the checkers. for once i want both bikes FINISHING THE DAMN RACE end of. you're looking good for that, so don't screw this up.

MotoGP » Aprilia reveals MotoGP colours

re: "It's not funny though" you are correct, it isn't. re: "the commercial brand value of bike racing is rapidly diminishing." HAS diminished (past tense). re: "It's like football, the tv and media value pays for the product you watch" therein lies the rub. WE who consume the product should be the one's paying for the product. sure it was great at the time, but the unfortunate consequence of the "Heady Days of 'Tomacco' Advertising" is it turned us into beggars. it's created a dependency where we now think OTHERS should pay for our entertainment while we contribute f@#kall. this simply isn't true, nor was it ever true. Qiu-Gon-S1 has just dug down and shown us the "root" of the problem. please send all remuneration care of my paypal account, thank you. baby needs some shoes.

MotoGP » Aprilia reveals MotoGP colours

re: "Aprilia claimed 19 manufacturers' and 19 riders' titles in the former 125 and 250cc two-stroke categories." re: "Aprilia's RSV4 has won seven World Superbike titles, including the riders' crown in 2010, 2012 and 2014." translation, they aren't mugs. what they are however is stuck in a year earlier than intended, and they only told us this.

MotoGP » VIDEO: Iannone - The Ducati is fantastic!

CONT... as I understand it, what Ducati (and the other factories) were blocked from originally was dipping down (past the available allotment) into the soft rear compound only made available to the CRT' and thus creating for themselves a "theoretical" extra advantage (since Lord knows they've already got plenty). but of course, a tyre that soft is ultimately NOT an advantage make since it goes off after 10 laps and race distance tends to be 20 laps +. therein it's a "self-solving problem", as no fancy magic will ever make a tyre that soft last when 250bhp is put to it. heat's the enemy. it causes the tyre to continue curing past where they prematurely shut off the vulcanizing process to make it the "soft" compound that it is.

re: "A win (or might be three wins without checking) and they lose the super soft quali tyre but gain the harder, more race durable compound." I'm not under the impression they are even blocked from using the harder compound...? are they...? why...? iirc, they reported (elsewhere not here) one of the quick lap times they did with the GP15 was set on a hard (or harder) B'stone compound exactly is I suggested they do. heretofore, they just couldn't sort those bloody "heat resistor" things for race distance on the older GP14, 14.2, right...? so what the hell, lets try the "CRT soft" for lack of any better option. CONT...
