WSBK » Giugliano: I am constantly over the limit

re: "They can still build twins and sell them but maybe they should try something different." ahhh but that blade cuts double. considering the marker laid down by HRC, one is EQUALLY free to ask... well why didn't the LOT try "something different" and just build twins...? right then, who's the individual who's gone and set the MULTI as the standard everybody should aspire to, 'cause I'd like to meet him. wait, belay my last, i just realized i already knew the answer to that question before i even asked it. :( A: Honda. my bad.

MotoGP » Crutchlow out, Iannone in at Ducati

re: "I think he's trying to save his MotoGP career" I think he's high on PCP. re: "another disastrous Ducati year could be deadly for him." like the disastrous year at LCR won't be. with Gigi, he had a chance. granted a very small one, but still a chance. now chance ='s ZERO. at the end of the day, LCR is HCS (ie. Honda Controlled Space). if you aren't Spanish and on Repsol, you're basically in the grandprix equivalent of a "NO FLY ZONE". they aren't going to let you "soar" but so fast and so high. the last great opportunity to shine on satellite kit unfortunately died with MS58. speed, altitude and heading are now locked into the computers. the flight plan...? PRE-ORDAINED. this is what you're going to do, you're going to take off, circle the airport, and land where you boarded the plane. wait, what...? it's the proverbial flight to NOWHERE.

WSBK » Giugliano: I am constantly over the limit

re: "I think the days of the twin are numbered. Even in the Evo class it struggles against the fours. Maybe Ducati should try something else." see entry for "small picture thinking". however (comma) when we zoom out the satellite view on Google Earth and look at the BIG picture, we are forced to acknowledge this ain't grandprix (this is production). at the end of the day they are a manufacturer 1st, a race team 2nd. if Dorna were to implode and collapse in on itself and all racing were to disappear tomorrow...? Bologna would still have a product to sell, payroll to meet, franchise obligations to fulfil, etc etc, blah blah blah. perhaps most important, they would still have MULTI-MILLIONS of Euro in brand equity. Q: brand equity associated with what...? 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon...? A: not so much, 90 DEGREES OF DESMO.

re: "The rules keep changing to accommodate the twins" close, the rules keep changing to accommodate the... REALITY OF THE MARKETPLACE. re: "it is interesting to see different types of bikes with different solutions win races... if not, we may as well make it a one make series!" and there it is. joeski, you are going to be General some day, now disassemble your weapon and continue...!!!
